  • so you are pretty much set for the work place when you leave this program?

  • do you guys weld muflers and stuff?

  • @6166789 It's mostly structural welding for the curriculum, but there are some projects where we do weld thin material, including stainless steel, galvanized steel and stainless exhaust tubing. It is sort of do as much as you can and after you have completed all the assignments for that quarter you can experiment and try doing anything you want, or you can come in while the shop is open to experiment. Outside projects are decided by the instructor...

  • @6166789 If a person is behind in their assignments they shouldn't expect him to let them use school equipment to do an outside project, regardless of whether it is school hours or not, he would expect them to use that extra time to catch up on work. To get a passing grade you have to get most of the projects done for the quarter (like 16/20) for a B would be like 18/20 and an A you need to complete all of them... there's not always 20 projects, he is always reevaluating/changing his curriculum

  • Super Nice Welding Facility. Very clean also!

Great Job & Thanks for posting!

  • Thank you so much for showing us Rod's creation! We, his family, have heard lots about it, but this is our first time to see it!
