  • Hey. Hey guys arguing. Quiet. I'm learning :3.

  • A bit of a dry treatment for a great moral tale!

  • MUST KILL REGAN

  • 2:48 Went a bit vader on us, did we?

  • I have a new favorite poem.

  • Bedtime story

  • well atleast you are keeping this self pitting shit off your AA account

  • Comment removed

  • @TheCratt

    ^Look at this persons videos.

    Disregard him completely.

  • TOO LONG

    DIDNT LISTEN

  • @pedobear123 It's because it didn't involve little children, isn't it?

  • You know this peom could EASILY have been written slightly different to give it the exact opposite meaning. The poem could have said :

The calf always left messages, while on his way, to ensure it would be followed, and no one should stray, even long after his death, till that special day?

  • @jordanjcm fail. Why? because Jesus is NEVER comming back and his path sucks.

  • @OsyenVyeter I never said what I believe. I was just pointing out that it is a peom. Just because your hero reads it does not make it a factual story. LOL.

P.S.... What's with this "fail"? Nerd.

  • @jordanjcm

    1. No ones saying this story actually happened. We just think there's a fact that we aren't individualists and don't make something of ourselves and instead we follow other humans.

    2. And calling someone a nerd for saying fail proves your immaturity

  • @jordanjcm Never said that

  • Comment removed

  • @epicseizurenow

    1. Of course we follow other humans. In fact we "literally" follow paths as well. I drive my car on them.

    2. If saying "nerd" is an Imature thing to say; is saying "fail" a mature thing to say?

I need to know if I am to get on the right path to maturity.

  • @jordanjcm

Is calling someone a nerd for saying "fail" immature? Yes.

Is saying "fail" at a person immature? Yes.

  • @epicseizurenow Is it immature to call somone tall? or short? I feel I used the word "nerd" in an appropriate manor from past experience. That in itself is pretty much the opposite of immaturity.

Not that I mind being called immature by someone on the Internet. LOL That in itself is also from experience and is the opposite of immaturity.

Looks like we know who the immature one is. When you grow up kid you will realize you can not judge a person by a 1 single word they type.

  • @jordanjcm

    1. Past experience? Saying things in the past doesnt mean its okay to say it in the future.

    2. I never judged you by a single word you typed o.0.

    3. You're a guy on the internet too.

Its apparent you just called him nerd to make him irritated. Just because I view it was immature doesn't mean I picture you as a 5 year old. o.0

  • @epicseizurenow I never said that I SAID it in the past. I said I learned what a "nerd" is from past experience. So if he is insulted by being a nerd, that is not my fault. P.S. I am fat. I know that I am fat. Calling me fat would not be immature. It is a FACT. I feel it would be immature to be offended by a fact. Not the other way around, as you feel.

I called him a nerd based on his whole comment and the way it was written. You called me immature based on one word.

  • @jordanjcm

You lost. You just called an opinion a "FACT"

It can be PROVEN that someone has a high amount of body fat in comparison to others. The fact that you consider it high is totally your opinion.

Calling someone immature is an opinion

Calling someone nerdy, or a nerd is an opinion.

How would it be immature to be offended by a fact? People can eat each other. That's a fact. That idea can be offensive.

Are you offended by my opinion that you're retarded? Yes? Not my fault you're offended.

  • @lnstantPanic I gave 1 fact and it was NOT an opinion. The only "FACT" I gave is that I AM FAT. LOL. That is NOT an opinion. It is a 100% fact.

I also never meant "ALL" facts are offensive. LOL Yeah I am offended that they put milk in cheese LOL.

    HELLO?

So you do not like my fact or my opinions. LOL. Boo hoo.

P.S. Calling me retarded does not offend me at all. It only tells me a lot about you.

  • @jordanjcm GG You didn't refute anything. . .

Did you even read my post?

"I feel it would be immature to be offended by a fact" You said it was immature to be offended by a fact.

I said, "How would it be immature to be offended by a fact?" you said "I also never meant "'ALL"' facts are offensive"

How does that have ANY relevancy

I didn't say all facts were offensive either.

Calling someone fat is your opinion. NOT A FACT.

Idgaf about your opinions because you are a MORON.

    -Facepalm-

  • In my opinion this is a metaphor for the story of the QWERTY keyboard layout.

(This comment was typed in Dvorak.)

  • One dumb ass leads, 100 follow.

    It becomes unquestioned tradition,

    Each century exponential addition

Because the human head is hollow

    So we follow.

    moo

  • Great poem.

  • I found that highly enjoyable.

  • Very good points, and well-read, TJ!

  • I had no idea TJ liked poetry, this was a cool poem though.

  • I like it

  • D: eeeeepic

  • Ok

  • epic.

  • Wow....that was epic. Thanks for sharing TJ!

  • This was awesome.

  • That was great. Thank you

  • This poem is amazing. Thanks for sharing TJ.

  • This is how Boston's streets were created, at least, by legend...

  • deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep

  • Nice

  • I like it! Particularly relevant these days, I think. Then again, probably those living in any time would say the same. Thanks.

  • almost skipped this, but i'm glad i didn't. sharing

  • I like this.

  • prolly will safe this for before going to bed ^^

  • Sounds like what the city of Las Vegas used for their "master planning" to me. lol

  • I follow a road less traveled and agree with the sentiments expressed therein.

  • Thank you.

  • If there is a morale to behold, in this poem that TJ told

It is of men and their propensity to follow the first path that they perceive

We adhere to familiarity and choose distance from those that are a rarity

A city now lies along a path formed by an inconsequent calf

We see the consequence of a simple decision

Proving the future difficult to predict with any precision

The city was not built from foresight and practicality

    But from compliance to familiarity.

  • @LongandGeneric I love you.

  • All the Things You Are

  • so nice i watched it twice

  • A pretty good example of chaos theory, if you ask me.

  • Fucking beautiful reading TJ

  • Poetry just seems so... Pompous to me. I would have enjoyed this tale a lot more if it was written as a short story.

  • Read Dreamland please!

    I love your poetry reading.

  • good video i have liked that poem for a long time

  • thx Tj great poem ! ever red ''Alone'' from Edgar Allen Poe?

  • lol horse load.

  • I think that this animated short is somewhat relevant to the topic.

    /watch?v=kQlaRBJWbBg

  • @madeye0 Even though not directly. But in any case it's great.

  • Comment removed

  • thx for sharing that

  • This poem reminds me alot of Two roads diverged in yellow wood by Robert Frost. Don't know which came first but there's alot of similarities

  • The fuck is this?

  • dum fag

  • @mamushi72sai5575 says the guy with the manga avatar lol

  • @ZakobYoa that's a game character actually. dum fag

  • really awesome video TJ

  • awsome[:

  • thats deep man

  • -__-

  • TJ is to poetry what Marlyn Manson is to songs. How he says it changes the entire poem from something sort of cheery and uplifting to something dark, but inspirational.

  • @ComradeAlpharius The poem was never meant to be cheery or uplifting.

  • Looks like he's run out of ideas. Try again next time, Thomas.

  • @Vix847 his name is teroja not thomas

  • @jmangta Lol, sorry, but you're wrong. His real name is Thomas James Kirk.

  • @Vix847 OOOHHH YEAH! lol iam sorry haha i wasnt trying to be rude i just had remembered him saying something about teroja and it says that on his wall sorry

  • @Vix847 This isn't an idea? This is a fantastic poem, what's your beef?

  • @tjd07x You're right, it isn't an idea, because he's obviously run out of other ideas for good videos.

  • @Vix847 It is an idea, though, did you not enjoy the video? And what do you base this "run out of ideas" shit on? All of his recent videos have been provocative, entertaining, and with good production value. Go hate somewhere else, and start making sense you paranoid piece of shit.

  • @tjd07x Either you don't know the meaning of the word "paranoid", or you're projecting that onto me. Furthermore, "Production value" is one of those weasel words that doesn't really mean anything lucrative, like "content" and "vision" and "synergy". Furthermore, I'm "basing this shit" on the fact that he's just reciting poems - not to mention badly, rather than addressing any issues like he used to.

  • @Vix847

He's addressed issues in a bunch of videos. This is the only one reciting poems. Idiot...

  • @Vix847 ya well ur dumb. hows that for projection beotch. OWNEDLOL!1

  • @tjd07x End yourself. Immediately.

  • I can fap to this

  • You didn't fuck up early. You were speaking the Queen's English and you stopped!

  • Just so everyone understands, the reason he didn't give his opinion on it afterwards, is so we can make our own calf paths about the subject.

    That, or he got lazy.

  • cool story brah

  • *Snaps fingers à la beatnik clap*

  • best poem ever

  • Thanks for sharing :)

  • Fuck off for kicking me out of your blog for no reason at ALL.

  • penis

  • Deep shit man.

  • that was deep

  • @Scorceror thats only because peotry like this is too deep for your shallow mind to possibly be able to comprehend

  • dat wuz beutiful mang!

  • More.

  • cool story bro

  • I really enjoyed this, i hope you post so many videos today, so many so i can enjoy them and be enlightened.

  • I'm the 666 like :)

    Nice poem.

  • awsome!

  • This reminded me a little bit of the recent TedTalks video about the organic statistical patterns in the growth of cities. Interesting poem.

    watch?v=XyCY6mjWOPc

  • Fascinating tale, chap

  • @TJdoeslife or the ownage channel for that matter?

  • The existing path is the easiest to follow.

  • That made my day.

  • You should use your AtheistPoet channel again!

  • My teacher would love this

  • what happened to your actual poetry channel, TJ?

  • That was beautiful.

  • *inhale* YEAAAAAAH! *pheeeeew* Beautiful mahhhn! You make mah buzz real good homie...

  • I can't believe 36 people have disliked this already.

  • Bang on the money. Never were words spoke more true than those in this poem. Thanks for sharing TJ. Humanity still follows such Calf Path.

  • That was a great poem. I'm also glad you didn't talk about it afterwards. You didn't give in opinion, which seems to infer that you want us to draw our own conclusions. Very nice.

  • I've heard that before... The point is that everyone took a crooked path through the forest that took much longer than a direct path would have, and everybody just kept following it, never bothering to make a quicker, more efficient path instead... And you can draw from that whatever you like, but there is a moral.

  • Woah........Full on.

  • Thanks for sharing.

  • Ummm, What?

  • That´s a cool poem you found T.J. Thanks for sharing it. I love clever poetry.

  • You forgot the part where the humans take the calf away from its mother so they can put it in a factory farm and nomnomnom

  • Yeah pretty much every person goes down that same road that everyone else has gone done. Expecting he might be great and powerful on day, but will be nothing. Reminded me of the quote saying " Doing things over and over again and expecting different results is insanity."

  • moving, isn't it?

  • by Brett Keane

  • Overdone, overcooked and undigested...

  • Ah, so nice and true, beautiful

  • beautiful

  • Is reading this in response to ConferenceReport? A couple weeks ago, he was making videos just about this subject- of walking on grass and making paths.

  • why are you not famous yet ? ...I think becouse you don't wanna be..that was beautiful

  • @speciwacy

Read the description people, he didn't write it ffs.

  • why the fuck does mountain dew not have a warning label that says: warning! poison!

  • @CHAOSin8bits Wait why would mountain dew have a poison label?

  • i made a poem:

    fuck.

    shit.

    damn.

    wow.

    whoa.

    shit.

  • @CHAOSin8bits i like this one better

  • Look at the top two comments. Back to mine. Back to the top two. Now back to mine. Sadly, they aren't mine. But if you stopped handing out thumbs up so freely, they could LOOK like mine. Look down, back up, where are you? Watching in awe as this comments gains thumbs up. What's below, now back to mine. I have it, the ability to gain thumbs up by posting something so simple-minded. Look again, people copying and pasting my comment to other videos.

Anything is possible on YouTube. Im on a PC

  • @dimebag579

    I thumbed down :)

  • Winnie the Pooh next.

  • I honestly can't get into any poetry that doesn't rhyme. When it doesn't I just get the sense that it's a shitty idea vaguely conceptualized by a kid with a large vocabulary.

  • People forget when you experience something profound; beneficial or detrimental, why do people think talking Will be a profound fix? The people mocking this women solutions are ignorant of real life.

  • Brilliant.

  • I would Agree with Tj. Reason?

    1. I have been in a few dramatic events. Limbs riped off, amnesia, died twice an so on. Point is when you find yourself in that kind of moment most people don't do the best thing the first time around. An how did I over come the fear an doubt in my self? I did the very thing that I got hurt doing an guess what. It worked! I overcame it all.

  • That was lovely.

  • Has TJ got a podcast or anything?

    I'd be interested in that

  • Needs an accordian playing a polka in the background.

  • i had a little calf thats half i put him in a stall thats all

  • Really great. Had to look it up to appreciate it fully.

  • cody and tj= ebeggers

    full circle.

    cant hide the truth

  • @kumarillo1 a beggar is someone who asks for something without offering anything in return. TJ and Cody have given us many, many hours of entertainment. Can't hide the truth.

  • ask tj about his classic cars and ask cody about all his albums he never made in the past. you call this entertainment? I'm making this video right now.

  • @kumarillo1 so ?

  • Thanks for sharing this with us TJ, a great piece of literature indeed!

  • Yay, I love storytime with TJ! lol Seriously, great poem TJ, although it might be too subtle for some.

  • This was beatiful!

  • you must do more of these!!!

  • that was awesome

  • I somehow got to a testicular exam video today and I think it scarred me for life. I really didn't want to see a guy playing with his balls, but I guess that cat's out of the bag now.

  • seriously i might get a video outta this fag.

take all your inner angst out against me

    so so crooked good
