  • Hatch over all! No. Front end conversion. Pop-ups for life. Theres a reason the 180sx outlived the Silvia s13 ;)

  • The add is from 1989. Glad I pick one up (Kouki)... 15 years later.

  • Hatch looks soooo much better. No wander its in front!

  • Once you go coupe, hatch is poop.

  • Oldie but Goodie

  • Nissan cars are as good as sex

  • @Fa9ooly323 got that right.....240sx are as good as kim kardasheans ass

  • Bone stock and brand new. Now that would be worth a little fortune today..

  • @azn069 not really...

  • @enginesRmyLife Yes really.

  • I think I got chills down my spine... the good kind.

  • Hatch is more weight balanced than the coupe. I left two coupes in the bends with my heavier hatch and one guy behind me had way more driving experience. Coupes look wrong. They don't flow right. From the sidelike the hatch does at the rear. I do like their real trunk tho. Also proves my point that coupes are more common amoung ppl look how many like coupes! Haha makes me hapy I went for the style that isn't as whored at the drift events I go to.

  • Sweet commercial. I like how the roads are wet lol I too own one.

  • I wonder if the BRZ/FT-86/FR-S is going to be like the 240SX 15 years from now

  • sad and regret, that although i owned a 1989 240sx coupe, i had never drifted it =(

now i want to do it so badly

  • 14,000 dollars wow..you can find these for dirt cheap now days lol..

  • Hatch>Coupe. Coupes are ugly, especially with the pop-ups (angled front with blocky rear windshield/trunk looks wrong). With fixed S13 headlights it fixes the messed up lines of the car, but the rear windows of the hatch and the shape of the tail lights look so so so much better than coupes. That's why the 180sx was still produced for 5 years after the S13 was replaced by the S14.

  • @austinismadcrunk

    Coupe> Hatch

Hatchbacks are mobile water pools. Not to mention they flex a lot more and break the seam sealer apart...more rust.

    Coupe> Hatch

  • @austinismadcrunk Have to get that s15 front conversion for the s13 coupe

  • coupe>hatch

  • Legendary commercial

  • Wow thats a real commercial? lol cool. Still prefer hatchback.

  • coupe is sexy in here...

  • nissan hot red :D ok guys imma go sit outfront and stare at mine :)

  • that srifting is correct.. not violent and time consuming. lol

  • This is fantastic! I do miss my s14!

  • OMFG I LOVE THIS SHIT!!!!!!! ^_^ <3

  • Who is singing the song? I've tried Soundhound and Shazam and I got no results. It kind of sounds like Michael Feinstein but I can't find a version even close to it.

  • why do the black 240sx have diferent taillights than the red one???

  • @eB42595

Ones a hatch. The cool one is a coupe.

  • @eB42595 the red one is a fastback where the taillights stretch across the cars rear but the black is a coupe where the taillights are split i personally like the fastback it looks more modern to me.

  • 1989 was hardly the 1980s...there was this time which I would refer to as the "Florescent/Neon" Period where many people were wearing a lot of Florescent shirts & stuff...& 1989 was really the beginning of that...if you wanna know what I mean, get your hands on 2 movies 1) Weekend at Bernie's, & 2) Ski School...both movies have a follow-up sequels & in this case, I'm only referring to the original movies...

  • @thedeem0N ha ha ha florescent/neon period i rember it well!!!!

  • drifting in the 80's!

  • Rod is Rhys's father... Steve is Rhys's uncle. Quite the family!

  • reese millens dad?

  • 240sx., the real sports coupe. RWD, 2.4 liters, and sleek and just plain good.

  • Drifting a full decade before them youngun's started claiming it as their own...

  • @Crippiter.... well thats Steve Millen driving, all pro FR circuit drivers can drift.. drifting came into notice as a technique in the 80's but nowadays its also a sport.. but i love that they did it in this commercial :)

  • @NismoZRS... Well... yeah, common technique among rally drivers, well before the 80's really. My comment above was partially tongue-in-cheek (you mean there was drifting *before* Fast and Furious?!?), and partially noting that (aside from a lack of extreme tire smoke, crazy steering angles, body kits and vinyl logos) this could almost be an outtake from a Formula D tandem run. Those Millens can drive!

  • damn dude, back then I said "those cars are ugly". Now I own one lmfao

  • @KSIxSnoopx i once said the same thing about sour cream lol

  • @guccamain i once said the same thing about sloppy joes...hahaha

  • @wtfyourafuckindoosh u own a sloppy joe? cool lol

  • @KSIxSnoopx Me too! However it's rusty as shit! But it always starts right up when it's -20 degrees out! :D

  • @KSIxSnoopx LOL same happened to me man!

  • Wow, had no idea the coupe was 5k cheaper? Why?

  • thats cuz all the new cars are FWD so they suck

  • Great video, short and sweet. Nothing like that in today's Nissan commercials.
