well its obvious that he has not thought his idea through because he can't even say one sentence without saying "umm" honestly he does not know what he is talking about so if there are people out there that believe this crap your stupid.
He was clearly not thinking at the top of his game, He seems like he was high on drugs, so no I don't think he is always that stupid, but he is stupid enough to use drugs w
hile congress is in session, If you have never been around drugs, this is what it looks like.
Guam covers 212 square miles (549 km2), making it the 32nd largest island of the United States. The island of Guam is 30 miles (48 km) long and 4 miles (6 km) to 12 miles (19 km) wide. You can somewhat see s smirk on the mans face when he said it but who knows...maybe Sarah Palin and him can float Guam to Alaska and see Russia from her house? lol
How can you say that the Guam Allied Health Board is "protecting" the public when a alleged sexual predator continues to practice with interviewing his victims??? Transparency??? Pare system poiltics in Guam is alive and well. Somebody get this joke of bandits off this Government appointed board before some woman gets abused by this "predator".
uhhhh uhhhh uhhhh STFU u must be from da states holy shet!!! ahahaha DAT WHOLE FCKN MEETING IS A JOKE!!! the island tipping over....letttuceee apparently u dont knw dis island and how it was formed.... u jst made urself look like a joke on national tv ahaaaaaa! flip over hahaha wtf xD
ABSOLUTELY no doubt this guy was totally serious. Anyone making excuses for him feels sorry for him. You see in the morning hours before this hearing, he himself was on an island in his tub smoking crack, his island turned over because of the imaginary army men he was playing with. This was all the evidence he needed to make such a theory. Stacking too many green army men on a sponge will eventually "CAPSIZE AND TIP OVA".
In 1996, before the Olympics came to Atlanta, some guy from New Mexico called Atlanta, to see about getting tickets to the Olympics. He was told, "Mexico, New Mexico; it doesn't matter what country you're from, you have to go to the U.S. embassy in your country to get a visa to come to the U.S. and the Olympics." I don't think they teach much geography or geology in Georgia.
No, it was not a well thought out metaphor. Widest level? Smallest level, uh uh uh smallest location? The idiot. Didn't he mean length and width? I know those are really big words for a 3rd grader. Tip over and capsize? The dumb ass smoked too much crack and can' even speak. Who elected this token?
Thank God we have geniuses like this man in congress to protect islands like Guam that float freely atop the surface of the ocean. I'm donating to Hank Johnson's campaign.
they were arguing whether or not more troops should be stationed in Guam. this makes it look as though a few more troops is no big deal. Guam won't sink, so what else is there to worry about?
so here's my theory. having made the ridiculous point that he made, the Judge HIMSELF is pointing out that the island WON'T sink., effectively using satire to ENABLE more troops to be shipped to Guam.
...Was he hi? I couldn't even laugh, because what he said was so stupid... He must not have an ounce of common sense, what I really worry about is the voting base though, they must be dumber than a box of rocks to vote for a guy like that.
Just look at Britain. In the south there are far to many people and they have trampled it flat, wheras in the north of Scotland there are harldy any people and the land is jutting up healthily all over the place and in no danger at all of flooding or sinking. It only stands to reason that if we don't have government to stop smelly foreigners from getting in then the whole bloody place will be trampled into the sea!
Are you sure it wasn't just an extremely poorly thought out metaphor? He could be attempting to point out the impact of the issue on the socio-economic balance or something. Either way it's hilarious but I find it hard to believe a man of his position is quite that dumb. Said in context it makes for one hell of a blooper though, I think one video of this has over 2 million views already :D
If you look at the original video, Johnson doesn't mention that by: "capsize and sink into the ocean" he means: "overcrowding or social/environmental catastrophe caused by overcrowding."
He only claimed that it was "metaphorical" long after the committee hearing (in order to save what credibility he has left).
Suppose this was the only video you've seen of the incident would it be such an irrational judgement? I'm from the UK, so unless someone I subscribe to posts a video like this to enlighten me I neither know nor care about the mistakes of US politicians ;) I merely posted, without knowledge of the incident, a suggestion as to why he might have said this. Surely reasonable given that it cuts out before the follow-up conversation? And i'm not making excuses for him, believe me!
@nempozpag - I'm unfortunately 500yards from being in that congressman's district (I really wish I was in it for fun). For most politicians I'd give them the benefit of the doubt. But he represents a district that, well I'm suprised his predecessor (Cynthia McKinney) didn't win for punching a cop in D.C. Honestly I thought that'd seal the deal for any politician in that district.
lol you guys are dumb to me it looks like that guy smokes enough weed and has short term memory loss I do ....
