I'm going to be honest, I'm not entirely sure what some of you were expecting. Did you think Wesker WOULDN'T turn into a terrible monster with a pathetic death in the end? I see that as a lack of understanding "character arcs". He's been going down that path for years now. And to say it should have ended on a cliff hanger? Do you think Wesker should have pulled ANOTHER vanishing act? That's a bad way to further his character. This was the end of the battle against him. Wesker is dead.
I understand your affection for Wesker as he is one of if not the coolest badasses even created, and it was a chump move for Capcom to completely obliterate his body without leaving a single piece for Majin Buu-esque regeneration, as well as leaving the Sherry Birkin storyline incomplete. I don't Wesker's personality he makes Lex Luthor look humble and kind which isn't a good thing also he seems really cowardly running away from battle throughout the game and having underlings such as Excella and a mind controlled Jill Valentine do his work for him. I mean Luthor or Joker they don't have supern enhanced powers like Wesker.

The knifing part takes places in the center of that rock land and the final cutscene doesnt match it, becuase it switches over to a defferent area on that rock. It sounds dumb, but it's what I though I had to do. I'm currently working on a remake of RE5, because I skipped too many places and bosses.

My problem is that they turned him into another generic tentacle monster that we always see in the new Resident Evil games. I also think they should have come up with something better then killing him with the rocket launcher, which is what they do for every final boss.

it like prototype game there are these tendril things also you start out with all upgrades unlocked but when training is done alex mercer wont remember anything oh and youll lose all the upgrades and to use normal kicks,groundspike(needs Claw Power Activated),Street Sweeper(whipfist Activated only)and other specials press the second mouse button but you also gotta purchase those special abilitys

I personally found Wesker's end fitting and awesome. I don't think Capcom could have done a better job. I know a lot of you other Wesker fans out there don't agree with me, but i think they gave him the epic ending he deserved.
I don't think that Wesker should come back after this. However, he should be talked about and appear in flashbacks.
His death kind of brings a finality to the whole Jill-Wesker-Redfield saga.

To be honest, I think killing Wesker was a brave move. I agree that he was a great villain, but I'm glad that he's been defeated. This way he won't begin to feel overused, like some other villains. In the end, this was actually my favorite game in the series.
But I do wish that he was defeated in a different way. I preferred the fight where you have to inject him.

I am sure there will be a Resident Evil 6. There are ways of bringing back Wesker if they wanted so I would not be so taken that this is the end for him. We thought it was the end of Wesker when we first played Resident Evil so this so called lava death is not set. Sheesh, I bet it really wasn't him to begin with but a BOW type clone.

I personally found Wesker's end fitting and awesome. I don't think Capcom could have done a better job. I know a lot of you other Wesker fans out there don't agree with me, but i think they gave him the epic ending he deserved.
I don't think that Wesker should come back after this. However, he should be talked about and appear in flashbacks.
His death kind of brings a finality to the whole Jill-Wesker-Redfield saga.

To be honest, I think killing Wesker was a brave move. I agree that he was a great villain, but I'm glad that he's been defeated. This way he won't begin to feel overused, like some other villains. In the end, this was actually my favorite game in the series.
But I do wish that he was defeated in a different way. I preferred the fight where you have to inject him.
I like all of your videos SaturdayNightsME. And although I disagree with your opinion about this game, I respect it.

I just hated the fact they didn't go with the original ending. With Wesker walking on lava and Chris, Jill and Sheva all on a Black Bird Jet and Chris flying it and Sheva and Jill pressing the turrent and rocket buttons at Wesker and blowing him up.

I am sure there will be a Resident Evil 6. There are ways of bringing back Wesker if they wanted so I would not be so taken that this is the end for him. We thought it was the end of Wesker when we first played Resident Evil so this so called lava death is not set. Sheesh, I bet it really wasn't him to begin with but a BOW type clone.

I almost threw up when Chris called Sheva partner. It was soo wrong in every way. I mean Sheva is just stupid and in no way could be in place of Jill.
