  • atleast chuck norris is on board

  • fuckin fat people

  • made in china

  • @unemondeunie Actually Made in Montreal

  • @ssgtakeo actually built in toronto downsview airport!

  • @XXXGhostGrenadeXXX

    Your medication worn off maybe?

  • Regardless of SAS's maintenance shortcomings, there have been A/D's issued over the corrosion problem, and Bombardier has owned this issue and made changes. To put all the blame on SAS though is just wrong. Furthermore, if you were in the airline business and had three aircraft of the same type fail, you'd have little choice but to stop using them. The public will not fly in what they perceive to be an unsafe aircraft regardless of the facts. Business is business. Suck it up fanboys.

  • probably just a really fat person sat on the right row

  • made in china

  • landing gear had a severe lack of ducttape.

  • nice landing gear..

  • Landing gear says MADE IN MEXICO

  • Worst, language, I, have, ever, heard.

  • @KEMPF95 Which the guys that were talking or the woman. Cause if its the guys, your making fun of my country you cunt

  • @cnielsen123 Don't worry about who I was talking about.

  • @KEMPF95 shut the fuck up you bitch

  • Trem de pouso MADE IN PARAGUAI.

  • You can blame the Mechanical Engineers for the landing gear's lack of structure.

  • @zyxon Ever work on a Q400?

  • @zyxon lack of structure are you serious right now? the dash 8 gear is one of the toughest ever put on an aircraft, its not bombardiers fault these stupid sweds didnt read the manuals on how to maintain them

  • @hawker800FO Danes, mind you. Not Swedes.

  • Why is it always the left or the front gear that collapses, and never the right ones?

  • Good grief, the propelers broke off! How did they not hit the fusalage?

  • @MrAemandy They probably did. However, on a Q400 there is a nice thick kevlar shield that protects that portion of the fuselage.

  • @NorthForkFisherman Simple but very effective. Must have scared the passengers a bit!

  • @MrAemandy Scared the shit out of me the first time we had ice off the props hit it, and I was a line mech for the airline at the time. It's a loud WHACK! But, yeah, they probably needed replacement seat covers as well as lots of airframe and landing gear work.

  • those wheels had ghetto repairs before flight

  • @Pidolife they can repair it better then that in the ghetto... ur thinking of a chinese repair.

  • whats the problem? He landed better than I can :L

  • That's scary..............

    :p

  • C'mon, we all know the poorest quality shit is made in America. That's why we import everything here 'cause we're so lazy and cheap to make it ourselves.

  • Its not only were parts are made but also who designs them and quality control...If its all china then I wont be happy before I hand my cash over.

  • It's spelled Copenhagen, not Kopenhag. :D

  • gear malfunction, the starboard gear didn't lock. it happens.

  • Looks like a dash-8 or what ever Bombardier calls it now but I think that was built in Canada

  • @denmalski Dash Q-8

  • The reason for the gear to fail was a small Berring somewere on the lock that got stuck... Acutally 3 other aircrafts had the same error within a few month all made "safety" landings like this... The problem with the gear was a huge topic in the news.

The company SAS sold all its dash airplanes, and the factory changed maintenance procedures and changed something in the gear... But the DASH is a really good airplane tough, just bought down by a 1 dollar a very small thing.

  • good old sas

  • that's the fourth dash 8 i've seen where the right gear collapsed. must be a manufactures problem.

  • is it a Dash ?

  • Sas have decided to get rid of the dash 8 from there fleet due to the amount of landing gear failures!

  • good good very good

  • Does Dash 8 are prone to Gear failure... no big surprise here to see the gear give way like that

  • what is that - a dash 8?

  • doesnt sound swedish but more turkish to me!

  • Its a simple American forumla, and will soon happen to Europe as well...

    The Deregulation Formula states,

Cheaper Airfare = Cheaper Service = Cheaper Passengers (lower class)

  • Must be European pilot :D

  • @ericown

I wish I was a pilot in Europe...unlike America, their pilots still get paid very well. The sad fact is that the American traveling public, doesnt give a shit, respect or appreciate the people who get them on the ground alive everytime they fly.

  • no one was injured. today they decided to sell the plane as parts as sas didnt want to fly them no more.

  • in news they said 7 of them had failed where landing gear had broken, this happened twice for SAS in a short amount of time, yes i live in denmark

  • poor scandinavian airlines

  • fake

  • @MrWiwstar what how is this fake, dumbass

  • This type of thing never happens in america....

  • @Sterlingjob in America thy always crash with style ... mostly with fireball effect

  • @Sterlingjob

We had different large engines from US in our engine shop in EU before.

In general was the QEC and core engine Installation a mess.

Brackets and installation had wrong PN, the guys in US just install what they come over.

  • @Sterlingjob

One large company X, the had brackets on a big pallet in their hangar.

If a bracket was cracked on a engine, they just took a similar one from this pallet :(

The same engines in EU must though be built with exact PN config etc.

    Strange?!

Don´t US have the same std as we in EU must have?

  • @voderick The USA is notorious for bogus parts, that is, parts that should have been destroyed end up back on an aircraft!

  • @Sterlingjob

No your mexicans is really taking good care of your AC´s....

  • You're right, sonny. At first observation, it appears that there's a bit of a crab to correct for crosswind, but not enough of a side-load to snap the main.

  • nooo!!! not a dash-8Q-400

  • It was a joke you Stupid Canuck. Man you are stupid - and I would not boast about that piece of shit airplane Mr. Loser Canadian.

    Man you are stupid...

  • @TheMiseryGuts well you know it all would've been avoided if you hadn't open you're racist mouth

  • Made in China with illegal Mexican workers

  • @TheMiseryGuts Actually its made in Canada by Bombardier you stupid racist. Go somewhere else to spit your miserable little insignificant life. If that's to be called.

  • @MALVAREZMX Bombardier does not make this gear.

They designed it, but it is made by another company in Canada.

  • @TheMiseryGuts try canada

  • @TheMiseryGuts and don't forget all the fucken Vodka they were drinking and it was built on a Friday afternoon.

  • Umping Yimmedy, whose gonna pay for this mess!?

  • Is that a Dash 8?

  • @pchapman905 Yep. Dash 8. Countless accidents like this

  • IN DENMARK! I LIVE IN DENMARK! dx.

  • I suspect a fault in the no2 primary fulminator., and yes the part was almost certainly made in China, by physco Muslims towel heads.

  • @mcwolfus Not even close to any part of this gear being made in China.

Almost all parts for this gear are made in Canada, with a very minor few pieces manufactured in the USA.

    Things like brackets and fittings.

  • @BrimHawk I was joking ;-)

  • @BrimHawk.... was joking.

  • did the landinggear die?

  • @Backlash89 wasn't in locked position apparently

  • @Backlash89 Yes I'm sorry to say it did. A painful death indeed and so young. It will be missed.

  • The speaker doesent speak danish btw

  • What The Hell is this reporter anpeople SAYING!!!!

  • @MrGH3Man4 I ment And People

  • @MrGH3Man4 shes talking turkish...

  • Se fosse da Embraer não quebrava!

  • This was from an accident at Copenhagen Airport, Denmark. It was an SAS Q-400 flight. SAS had many problems with the Q-400 flights from Bombardier. SAS has now sold all these aircrafts to other airline companies worldwide. Bombardier has compensated SAS with new aircrafts called CRJ and of course a lot of money.

  • @rednavillo yes in this case the aircraft was a bit over waight and a little to much fuel plus not to strong landing gear === belly landing

  • This was in Aalborg, I've never heard about the plane being overweight. I've heard that an emergency landing was made, because there was something wrong with the right landing gear. Apparently there was rust on it.

  • No, fuck saudi arabia, fucking undeveloped country.

  • dæven det var rart

  • how did the recorded just thist moment :O

  • the camera man was maybe just spotting and decided to film landings..

  • ON the bottom of the gear it says: GEAR MADE IN CHINA.

  • @LotsOfGreatStuff

Made in the USA actually, that is where Canadian company Bombardier buys the landing gear bits from, but you are in the right ballpark, China and USA are similar quality wise..

  • @reiknir Actually, the gear is completely made in Oakville, Ontario, Canada.

    I know...I work there.

The gear is manufactured from forging to finished product in our building.

  • i am from denmark and i have never hear about this :S

  • really? Even I have heard about it and i'm from Norway

  • @arashogfar jeg bor der. det er i aalborg

  • i have and im from US

  • O SOS foi rápido.

  • im from denmark i know that crash my ant was whit it in denmark we always says to sas: vil du prøve noget der gør nas så tag en tur med sas translate you want to try something that hurt then try a flight whit sas:D Lolz

  • det rimer kun på dansk :D

  • Wefrotcbtshandbgerayw, fhru.... cjrbsiebvh............ What?

  • cap'n, hold 'er off, ill grab the hotdogs, meet outside after it stops!

  • gwgadkdgwhjvfadwskvsgakvsadkvga booom!!!!!

  • Gear made in china :D

  • hahhahahah good one :D

  • @sherifbatawy I lol'd

  • @sherifbatawy okay thats just mean

  • @sherifbatawy

    FUCKING RACIST ...

  • @sherifbatawy

IM CHINESE U KNOW AND IF U BE RACIST WE 3 BILION PEOPLE WILL ALL KICK YOUR ASS AT ONCE BITCH ASS

  • @aliiisooonnn hahaha I just laughed my ass of you little kid.

  • @sherifbatawy omg can´t stop laughing off that joke good one boy!

  • @sherifbatawy the probleme of q400 is the gear.

  • @sherifbatawy If those gears say "Made in a terrible factory where people get raped in China," I'd be dying

  • whats not made in china these days? @sherifbatawy

  • @sherifbatawy very funny, but today most technology products and other products like clothes, shoes are made in China. The workforce of this country is more economical. Our mind believes that Chinese is bad, but we use devices out there and we made very good, or else it would be ipods, iphones, game consoles, home theaters and flat TVs.

  • @sherifbatawy gear not maintained by stupid sweds

  • they are lucky duckies !! didnt explode!!

  • the piltos knew what they did. they trained that many times

  • it was a good touchdown..

  • The gear didn't lock properly.

  • No wonder it collapsed! Look at that ridiculous landing gear! Who the fuck designed/thought of setting up landing gear on the wings and make it extend out that long!? From the wing to the ground!? Fucking stupid...

  • I'm sure the engineers never ever thought about that. They'd better go to youtube for advice. Also, landing gear have a shock absorbing function built into them. Thus upon landing they compress nearly half the way to please the passengers backsides. Also, the Q400 featured here has been an excellent design to fit the commuter role. It's shape is very ground equipment friendly to make for the quick turns it's designed for. This is an excellent and very successful design.

  • @anoblenate "It's shape is very ground equipment friendly"

Yes, and the "kneeling" funcion makes it very handicap friendly too!

  • @halnwheels hehe, took me a second to get that. wonder if this will become more standard feature.

  • @PlatinumG I'm sure you're an engineer...aren't you..

  • Talk to me in 4 years and I will be, I swear.

  • haha FAIL

  • It came in way to fast and hard

  • thats what she said.

  • Exactly :D

  • What the F*uck is that spoken Lanuge? That was sas Boreing 250 they stopd making those plains after this...

  • that was an A720-500 twin turboprop....

  • no, no .. no atr 72-500.. it was dash8 q400

this and similar accidents in DK resulted in removal of whole SAS´s q400 fleet

  • it is in swedish the langiage is

  • The spoken language is Turkish. So before you say "Fuck" ask it kindly !

  • made in china

  • The gear did not snap nor was the plane landing too fast!! The news media was there becuase the pilot declared an emergency when he didn't get a green light on the panel indicating that the right side gear was LOCKED in the down position. This was a controlled crash landing and there is no history that these planes are any more prone to failure than others! You people are ignorant nuts!

  • i no right these ppl need to learn more b4 they speak

  • @sonnybonkers very wise answer.... 100%agreed...

  • @sonnybonkers calm down tard...

  • @sonnybonkers

There IS a history that suggests these planes are more vulnerable for landing gear failures. Fleets of them have been grounded for it. This was one of several incidents that occurred for the very same problem and it resulted in SAS giving the plane the boot. Otherwise a good plane as far as I know and it is nice to see props still spinning at the airport.

  • the landing gear on those are crapppy, it happens a lot with those planes, in fact three times this year. it's a Bombardier made in Canada, I'm ashamed lol

  • china make crappy shit it break alot

  • gotta be pretty fragile 2 get injured with that.

  • he was coming in to fast so gear went , it was the speed that did it so pilot error like allways...lol...fucking pilots...lol

  • rufusandburne WOW, do all of your years of experience on the flight line tell you that. It was a normal approach. For a landing gear to fail due to speed he would have been going too fast to flare, oh wait, he WAS able to flare! Idiot

  • Dumb engineering ...

  • did the pilot land so fast or it was because da landing gears?

  • It was failed landing gears... When you watch this video again, you can see that he gears are locked and when the plane touched down, the right gear snapped up and the plane ending on its' belly...

  • i can just imagine the pilot saying "were in for a smooth landing" right before he does that!! haha epic FAIL

  • IS DAA JEMAND VERLETZT

  • What? Did you say did someone survive??

  • yes everyone survived

  • landing gear epic failure

  • thats the problem with those dash 8's when a main gear collapses its a long way down for the wing!

  • Booh'sh de la inge, moochila ley altrain, vamoose ala ichi nim bur oka elle kimme.

  • bombardier have a very serious prob with them nose gear ichhhhhhhhhh pas bon ca.

  • Suspension FAIL.

  • "det ser vi bare ik det her " nej det ser vi ik"

    er de blinde :D?

  • Mon ikk? xD

  • Translation: hell yeah

  • Titled "Crash-8" by the scandinavian countryes ^^

  • lol

  • I think in this case the F/O must of retracted the undercarriage without informing the captain.

  • it was aircraft malfunction 3 planes suffered from this in 1 month. 2 with right gear and 1 with nose gear.

  • no its rusty and a bad thing '

  • gears are always confirmed when locked, pilot error or aircraft malfunction?

  • @arianabbasi If the gears not locked what the fuck you want the pilot to do? Grab a wrench and hang by his balls out the window

  • seems like the right landing gear gave way!

  • The plane is a Bombardier Dash-8-Q400

made in Canada, flying for SAS in Denmark

  • Maintained by SAS, a low cost, no frills airline. Scary airline.

  • shit as

  • made in korea

  • Terrible design

  • wase'nt thet in Denmark?
