there is one cheat well not at all but a bug, u can go to the reversed castle without kill richter and getting the item from Maria, i did it long ago when i didnt know where to get the last ring and the item to see the gold sphere over richther's head xD i finished the both castle and never killed richter that time xD

This is possible. did it on my emulator with about 30 load state tries. It is very hard to get this sidewinder to obey the spell commands, but 3 in a row is doable. kinda easy, too. I was semi shocked. Just deleted some comments calling this guy a bullshitter, then I tried it out. GG man. (Timing is everything)

Yeah, but in order to do this, you have to have near-perfect reaction time in re-activating Hellfire, and you pretty much have to know when the invincibility frames end...

I just tried it in Dracula X Chronicles on the PSP. I managed to do another Hellfire while standing on the spikes but have yet to be able to make the third consecutive Hellfire due to my incompetence, but this trick seems promising so far.

obviously its a game shark code to disable spikes cuase they always will hit you

Cheated Mate i owned this game i got 200.6 % map coverage in 1 hour 5 mins my score is saved on the top leaderboards of sotn i have tried this and it doesnt work xbox and ps1 players dont et the 3 second lag to cast spell after spell !

This probably won't work on 360 anymore. The update killed a number of exploits I used when this came out in the day. Namely the ability to shift this fast. If you have a pre-patched version this may still work. Otherwise you need the PSOne version for this now. It was designed for it anyway and the controller work's much better as well.

This was played using an emulator yes, but the trick doesn't work because of that, it works on the original and on the Xbox 360 as well.

i think this guy is using some sort of cheat. When u exit thhe door right away; u get poke by the spike right away. When he exit; he can stay there for a good 3second before transformation to the bat/mist. And how da heck he use the fireball skills near spike. I tried it and no success whatsoever.

I noticed that too. The moment he finishes casting the fireball spell, he shouldn't have time to cast another before being hit.

Plus, since he blatantly left his mouse cursor in the middle of the screen, it shows he's using an emulator...and those are VERY easy to use cheat codes with.

The easy way to do this is using an two curative items, one in each hand. Alternate between using each one of them, and the items give you a few seconds of temporary invulnerability from the spikes. It's an awesome trick to use on a speedrun. Easy way to get back is to Library card out.

nice! you can pass with life apple and fairy too! with low hp fly (bat/mist) to the end of the door then switch back to alucard facing the door. the spikes should instantly kill you but fairy revives you with life apple plus temporary invincibity to run towards door and open it!

Yeah i had an even crappier pc at the time of recording, and i forgot that the mouse pointer got in the way even though it wasn't visible in the game ^^;

btw, a faster way of getting back would be to do the batcharge thingy (don't remember how atm.) hold x and do some kind of motion on ze pad.
