I think is too much motor for that chasis... the bike looks unstable a little bit.

Even Despres isn't revving the engine like it should be.

a big bore 4-stroke isnt meant to be revved out its meant to be lugged to take advantage of the low end torque

@roostin Not the 250 and 450f.....they run at a higher rpm than most 2 strokes....

@josmoloco Yeh your right, some people still fail to see this.

250 SXF is 39HP at 11,000 rpm and 25.2 NM at 8,500 rpm

250 SX is 49.05HP at 8600 rpm and 30.95 NM of torque at 8100 rpm.

Iv got a 250sx and a yz-f 250 And i rev the crap outta my 4 stroke compared to my 2 stroke.

just finishing iorn man is an awesome thing 1000 miles thats farrrr the most i have ever done in a weekend is like 260 going 1000 i cant even comprehend maby some day ill give it a shot do you race score regularly?

na ive never raced any of the score races lol not yet. i do the oregon gp series though. racings like what i want to do career wise.I want to do the erzberg race and all the insanely hard races

why a 250 if your gonna do desert. im trying to get rid of my cr250 which is totally hammered and get a 525sx. i could have had one with a 540 kit,ported, big valves, cam, pipe and 6 speed kit for 3000 but its long gone.

i want a 250 cause i do a lot of woods riding and its small and light be still okay on open desert. my dads got a 450 exc and that thing hauls ass. how old are you?

17. yeah after i rode a 525, 450s and 250s just don't compare. the thing with the smaller bikes is you have to keep the r's up more and its much rougher that way to me than just lugging a 525 a gear up through the whoops and really rough stuff

ya i like the high rpms. ive ridden the 525 and i mean its really fast and all but i seem to do better with a smaller bike, especially in the woods lol where u live?
