excelent re inactment, i serve in the Princes Patricas Canadian Light Infantry and am in the process of transfering to the Royal New Zealand Infantry Reg
Pretty good but a few points: The scout would never have taken his master hand off the pistol grip - he would have signalled with his non master hand OR remained still facing the direction of the enemy. SOP's would have taken over from there. Also, silent communication goes out the window once contact is made: target indication from the scouts, NCO's shaking out the guys in the section, contact report, etc, meant that everything was loud until reorg. Wouldn't hurt to put a M16 in too. :->
Hi great flick just a couple of Americanisms coming in,ive never heard of a point man its always lead scout or no 1 scout and the "short" term our guys did 12 months as a unit only going out leave or if a casualty also the sig gave a contact report when it should have been a sighting but overall an excellent effort.
Cheers mate. It was all thrown together in a very short time & while we tried to be reasonably accurate, I will do more research next time. Probably get a vet to help with the script. Thanks for the feedback.
Good one, hope you have a great time here in NZ!

Flash backs - easy in the language of cinema - flash forwards, not so sure.

Cheers mate. I'm thinking how I would change the f forward to make it clearer.
