A killer rendition. Granted if you want to get more of the hardcore twilight fans on board with your tunes, I say make a more symphonic metal version that follows the notes of the original more strictly, and the same tempo. Personally I'd love to hear that. (I like twilight, despite it's kinda gay take on vampires. The plot is good, the glitter-vamp idea is ludicrous.)

@mikulenrinluka its called a cover genius. It's based around the twilight theme, which is no doubt why they put that in the title. They never claimed that this was the actual theme. and you underestimate the balls it takes for someone to create their own version of something and put it up, literally, for the world to see. So grow up, widen your horizons and learn to accept when people actually put effort and thought into what they do, unlike your comment.

@QuotidianHegemony The Idea behind this tune is swiftness. And your distortion makes it sound like you yank every string from beginning to the end. Maybe you do maybe you don't, I'm not gonna ask you to play it with so much less gain, obviously. But it should be more tender. No matter if it's piano or bridge pickup of an Ibanez through a gain pedal to a Marshall head... Reverb-ish kind of feel, from the way it's played. Check again on Yiruma live video, I have no words to put it short)

@steamlilly I tried to do my own thing with it, and I tried to give it an aggressive metal feel. There are already a lot of covers which fit your description of how it should sound. To me, conforming exactly to the original and doing the same cover that about 15 other people have already done would be pointless. Although I guess you already had it engraved in your mind how you wanted it to sound, and I am sorry that my attempt at originality was not within "tender" mold you desired.

@IxAMxLAWLIET Yeah, I was searching around for a good metal version actually played on guitar, and I couldn't find anything either. That was part of my motivation for making this. cbshredz has a really nice version, buts its a lot softer than mine. Thanks for the nice comment!
