tk4D: See his shoulder alignment? watch how he holds the heads of his arm bones, and his shoulder blades draw back to give his neck space. If you practice good shoulder alignment you can do this without neck pain, an Anusara teacher should be able to show you how :-)
No with the proper stretching over a period of time anyone can train their muscles to stretch like that it just takes dedication and at times a lot of physical pain. Its a simple contortion move done very well with great body control. Great job love your an amazing young man.

If you're a breakdancer (B-Boy), you could try learning hollow backs or inverts (inverted hollowbacks). More cooler than scorpion but this was sick.
