I feel for you! haha I had that shot a few months ago!!! It is very painful and I had to lay on my side for 20 mins to make sure I was ok.... ( I was 14 weeks pregnant at the time and really sick/dehydrated) haha I hope to never have that one again!!!! I hope you feel better really soon!! I'll keep you in my prayers!

So glad you are feelin some what better! I SO know that shot ur a talkin about! OMG it's a killer, but it does seem to help me to get better quicker. I am an OR nurse now, but spent many a day in the Dr.'s office giving those shots too, and I have to say b-4 I got one MYSELF..I thought to my self ...I know it has to hurt 'cuse it is thick, which means you have to use a bigger needle to give it, but IT CAN"T be that bad. Then I got one!So I KNEW the pain! All new respect. Even cried w/ a few pts.

I hate shots! Once when I was a kid it took mom, granny, 2 nurses and 2 dr.s to hold me down just to give me the shot.

I know exactly how you feel. I have the same problem all the time. I'm asthmatic and I get bronchitis all the time. I'm also full of nasty stuff too. I've never had one of those shots, though. But, oh my goodness, I can only imagine how bad it hurt. I know that when I had my dpt booster a few months ago it hurt like hell for about 2 weeks later! Hope you're soon feeling better!!

I had viral infection and pneumonia, and a vacation to Florida coming within a week. I drank 4-5 glasses of water that week, and I was normal at the day of the flight, true story.

Honey, drink as much water as you can. Don't drink enough to get sick, but water really helps your Immune system and hydrates you while getting rid of the "bug". Also, I refuse to go to the dentist, lol. So I will contine to just keep brushing my TOOTH. Lol...Get Better Soon! Love ya...xoxox
