I think it's amazing how cats and ferrets play. It looks like the cat it going to tear the ferret apart when they kick it, but they never use their claws. I've seen cats and ferrets play, and when you pick the ferret up to 'protect' it from the cat, the cat is like 'wtf, put him down! We were playing!' so cute.

@RoFlz941 It really comes down to their individual personalities. If you are looking into getting both I would recommend either going to a ferret rescue and getting one that is known to be OK with cats or adopt/buy a kit. Then go to the spca and adopt one of the many kittens they get every day (best selection is during kitten season). By getting them young they can grow up with each other and you run less chances of them not getting along. Ferrets are social creatures by nature.
