Its very similar in action to a kahler, but there are big differences. First its a strat-style tremolo unit and depending on how you have it setup, you cant pull back on it very far unless it has more clearence (ie more routing). The advantage this tremolo has over the kahler is that there is NO string noise when applying heavy vibrato...
not really, the tremolo unit itself has a lot of metal in it, so, the bulk of that compensated for the amount of wood taken out, which wasnt much anyway, about the size of 1 and a half decks of cards...
...I've never seen that type of tremolo before... How does it compare to the Kahler bass trems?
