Maybe had Kelly coached in the Sugar Bowl Cincinnati would not have gotten lit up as bad vs. Florida. Fact of the matter is he coached a mediocre team in a weak conference.

I'm so glad that Notre Dame DID NOT try to hire Jim from Stanford. He is so overrated and no where NEAR as good of a coach as Brian Kelly is. Jim has a pathetic record of 17-19 in three seasons at Stanford. Why on earth would we even WANT to try and get a guy like that coaching our team. No fucking way. Kelly is SO much fucking better than him for sure. Great choice overall for our coach

@TheFiremanCummin jim harbaugh is one of the best coaches in the country. he's got a 17-19 record because he took over a program that had been horrible for about 7 years prior to that. Look what finally happened when his players that he recruited became starters, he went 8-5, with a close bowl game loss to Oklahoma. I expect Stanford to be just as good, if not better next season, with Jim's first class of recruits becoming seniors.
