Yes, thank you, capitalc21. This is the most beautiful rendition of this song -- Paul Boruff has a beautiful voice and his voice is perfect for this song.
@tigercubkitten well not really cuz they arent saying they r creating the song or its lyics and they arent selling it for profit they are saying that they do not own it they r just psting it so that they can show other people u can use stuff from other people as long as u state that u dont own it or give proper credit to the actual creater or owners ergo no copyright infringment here (srry for the bad typing here i am in a hurry)
So very beautiful! I like all versions I have ever heard of this song....and your's is right at the top. I have a version on Youtube,......man I wish I had your talents! Cecil Moody
Heavens to Murgatroid! What a delightful version of one of my all time favorite British folk ballads. Mr Boruff is QUITE a talent! THANKS so very much for sharing this with us. You've made my day & my weekend! May ALL your wishes & dreams come true in the New Year! :)
I am very familiar with the spare Pete Seeger version of Barbara Allen. Mr Boruff's version is far richer and melodic! I like them both, yet this was a particular treat. A fresh twist on a very old folk song ... BRAVO!!
