berserk wasn't a filler filler cliff hanger. They did they're best to adpat to the manga but it was to much of a budget. Gantz they were catching up on the manga and they didn't have enough matrial so they decided to end it in filler but giving the audience an idea that the fans are already reading the manga or it will encourage anime fans to read the manga to find out what happened.
