There is nothing "impossible" about taking a picture toward the horizon with a camera that is solidly placed on a box that is resting on the front of the astronaut as you see him doing in this video. He is not an artist trying to frame the perfect picture. He is a scientist taking a picture of the horizon and the contour of the mountains in the distance.
The evidence that the moon missions were faked is crushing. There's a partial summary of it on a science forum. To see it google "The Naked Scientists". In the "New Theories" section of the forum there's a thread entitled "Did We Land on the Moon?". The summary is on page 15. It's the 7th post from the top.
probably those are bright enough, if you go out at night and you have your outside light on its too hard to see stars, sometimes i cant even see a star exept a few big or not at all..
if you use your hands around your eyes like a "telescope" after a few time you may see some stars XD
Those engineers thought of everything, in terms of durable suits. Good stuff. And, gotta admit- this mission was fascinating, as soon as they first entered moon orbit. Really interesting. Thanks.
These are two of my favorite astronauts ever: Jim and Dave. I have Jim's autobiography, "To Rule the Night". Like Dave Scott, Jim Irwin was a good man. He passed away in 1991. Dave still gives lectures on aerospace like many other astronauts.
What a nostalgy! I met Dave two years ago, he was giving a lecture in Johnson's. He was the one who told me to apply to the space program. Apparently, I don't have enough stick time for them, but I'm getting there:-) Love the man! Brilliant mission, by the way!

I wish Apollo 13 would be as successful as 14 and 15. It could have been so funny to see Lovell and Haise on the moon:-D

I love the clumsiness of the astronauts. Shows their just people on a strange planet.

If you look closely, the ground was pretty unstable. The suit was probably pretty heavy, which didn't help balance.
