  • is posible to get one of theese now??

  • @jahp77 I was just about to put mine on eBay - I've loved playing with it, but time for it to find a new home with a new tinkerer. Message me if you're interested

  • Neato! I've never seen one of those before.

  • Did you get this going yet?

  • Plotters are truely amazing to watch. I almost bought one just to watch it print stuff. Check out the speed on this thing:

    (not my video)

  • I just aquired one of these. I was thinking about coupling the beam from an argon laser i have lying around and having it cut decals or something.

  • Nice.

  • Does it print (or plot) to scale? Can you use the print job as a template? This could save loads of layout time. Looks cool.

  • Yup - sure does! I agree - may help immensely for layout.

  • Great looking setup!

  • I'm Jealous

  • I forgot how wonderful it was to watch a plotter work!

  • I agree - it is mesmerizing!

  • Cant wait to see it at work. Excellent, the ideas are endless.

  • Can it use a knife for cutting out stencils and how difficult is it to get more pens and ink refills?

  • I think the deskjet style printers (eg watch?v=RyJHGQ3FNrA) are better for stencil cutting because they have more strength/rigidity - especially when cutting something like vinyl. Pens are available on eBay - some are good deals, some are overpriced/expensive...

  • That is awesome little machine. Love to see how it would do etching sheet metal.
