Never overpower the vocalist. The musicians must always respect the singer and never be louder in the arrangement. The singer is very good but must have better communication with the rest of the musicians so these mistakes never occur. The pianist/keyboardist is excellent but must pay closer attention to how he sounds in respect to the other members, especially the vocalist and be prepared for any and all changes. Here the strings in this patch were too loud. Remember, less is better.
