These innocent women were trying to do what the women in neighboring Liberia did under Leymah Gbowee. They are trying to intervene between the two warring factions and force peace talks. By shooting at these women, Gbagbo has discredited himself and his party. He should immediately condemn the killings, step down and accept exile. If he doesn't, the UN and France should intervene with veterans of UNIMIL to avert civil war.
