Abortion is going to happen whether in a hospital or in a back alley. This is not something that only happens because women can go to a hospital. However, abortions should be done in hospitals in rare cases.
For me, it should not be allowed in a hospital after the first trimester. Also, it should only be allowed for victims of rape or incest and to those whose child may be born with a significant defect.
Under these circumstances only, should women be allowed to have an abortion.

All pain centers are located in a fully functioning brain, the brain has not developed to that extent yet until around the 20th week. 84% of abortions are done BEFORE the 12th week. The other 16% are usually done due to medical reasons, or other problems that occur.

It barely has any functions at all during that stage. Abortions done after the 12 week are often due to medical problems, or other issues that arise.

Women should not have to risk their lives for a potential human, the woman is alive, has family, friends etc. It would be a tragedy if she died for everyone. And majority of the time when the mother's health is in risk, the "childs" is too, so if she dies, so does the child. The only way the child wouldn't die is if the mother dies at childbirth, rather then another medical condition.
