  • He shoulda been using a jack stand. should of had the wheel bearing nut on the cv shaft when he was hitting it with the hammer. its not hard to mushroom them threads. im a first year apprentice myself and im learning. this guy could of done better. im just naming a few things that i didnt see other people point out..

  • Comment removed

  • i had the same prob and i drive a olds alero and it was the back brake pin broke a little and moved sideways and when i turned it went away and or when i pulled up on the e break

  • a little penetrating oil would help a lot next time dealing with rusty threads

  • you need a new thermostat if your temp indicator is correct

  • take the nut off then measure it... proper way down in tilsonburg. Tilsonburg? My back still aches when I hear that word....

While, a way down Southern Ontario

I never had a nickle or a dime to show

A fella beeped up in an automobile

He said "You'll want to work in the Tobacco field's of Tilsonburg"

  • This mechanic is a goof! First you remove the 36 mm drive axel nut BEFORE your jack up the car up! And after you loosen the lower ball joint nuts or remove the lock bolt, then your take a center puch tool and tap the drive axle a few times so the will break free, after that then you can remove the wheel bearing!

  • Where's part 2 bud? Pologize.

  • its the other front bearing mine did the same thing i changed them both

  • @ben5075 lol the other right front bearing? i believe it only has one right front wheel bearing.

  • I had the same side go out on my honda, we had a six foot breaker pole on the wrinch to brake that nut.

  • @willibill1 then you're weak.

  • should get that tie rod checked out too,,looks like its about to let go too.

  • mickey mouse mechanic,,,i wouldnt let him touch my car,,1st thing he shoulda done was tie that caliper up, great way to wreck a line. not to mention all the other boo boos,,,,hes young,,needs to learn i guess,,,just wouldnt be my wifes car that carries my kids. just saying.

  • @cappy6921 ya know I was there watching the entire time, I think he did a good job ffs... sure he may have done a few things wrong but don't we all??? its't that not how we learn??? sheesh cut the kid some slack!! just say... pologize

  • @Crazylogie Everything is torqued to specs. I wouldn't worry about it, I jus dont see why everyone has to critisize about how he did it. I didnt see anyone else offering up help to do it for you.

  • Frig yeah princess auto breaker bar. I just got one

  • gonna do a wheel bearing assy and doesn`t own axle nut sockets?

  • @demoguy40 i've changed dozens of wheel bearings and i don't own any of the sockets. it's called get a loaner set from a parts store for free!!!

  • the way i find out is jack the car up get a long 2x4hold it on the bottom one tire so it dont spin and run it up to 100 or so works every time

  • Cant even slow down for "the wildlife". Come on man don't you have a heart? Please don't be like every other redneck cocksucker who only cares for himself.

  • @Naraxsus if you seen how many of them black tree rats live in ontario,,how they get into our homes n garages and chew everything up n crap everywhere,,u'd prob aim for them like we do.

  • you should try turning the traction control off and see if the noise goes away. I googled it abs and traction lights comming on is a common problem with those cars, it could be the abs control module of abs pump or just the wiring.

  • @mx3sleeper yeah that didnt work

  • wow that was like watching a monkey trying to f*** a football....

  • and its not a rear wheel bearing its in the frnt they like to go in pairs...FYI not hateing just letting u know... i work on cars everyday all day ;)

  • @03grandgtramair it was the rear right that made the noise stay tunned for next vid

  • not to be a dick but dude had no friggin business near a tool...he could have snapped the locking pin for the parking brake in the trans by standing on that axle nut...and u take a big hammer and whack the shit outa the spindle to get the bearing out...& never hit the axle threads for the nut with a hammer put the nut on then whack it...sheesh glad to see it worked tho

  • @03grandgtramair a normal person breaks the axle nut loose when the wheel and tire are still on the vehicle and on the ground. common sense tells us all that.

  • @schrankm ur right i use a impact to get the nut off the axle and back on...then lower the car and torque the nut ...that me tho...lol

  • @03grandgtramair exactly but his impact is useless.

  • BIG GREASY NUT

  • It could be both sides that are bad. And possibly the rear ones too. You'd have to have it looked at. I'd say take it to me I'd fix it and tell you exactly whats wrong with it, but I don't have a place to work on it, or any tools.

  • ye a car needs a inspektion onece for a year

  • LOL.. MY luck...

  • that guy is a back yard want to be take it to someone that has the tools and knows what the fuck they are doing

  • @rbbjarn wow, logie asked him to fix it and he did. Nothin wrong with doin the work yourself, heck, I just did a wheel bearing, brakes, and power window motor on my Caravan, and I sure as hell aint no mechanic.

  • @Crazylogie lol. U said nut off

  • Everyone calls that part a bearing. It's called a hub assembly, the bearing is in the assembly. (am I being pedantic?)

  • @wmcartpusher04 your right but order a wheelbearing for that car and see what you get

  • @wmcartpusher04 it's the bearing itself that's bad, not the hub assembly.

  • PUSH THE AXLE OUT FIRST, MORONS!!!

  • 2000 chrysler 300m have wheel bearings ?

  • hooly shit does your wife have a wrench set on her keychain

  • A dirty job but adam did the job like a pro :-)

You doomed it by saying it may be another side, lol

  • Maybe the new one didn't have any wires in it?

  • @MeowJW if it was the right one it shoud have

  • @MeowJW all four do.

  • nice carpenter hammer LOL

  • Jack up the car and wiggle each wheel by pushing and pulling on the upper and lower part of the tire, not the left and right side!!!

  • air tools bud lol

  • Well you only have 3 more to pick from.

  • I change both bearings if one is dikked

  • come on bud, take to a guy that can diagnose...

here I'll help ya, get it up to speed where ya hear the noise.

now cut hard to left if it goes away its the right side.

again cut hard to right if gone its the left side.

to pin point (noise wise) jack the front up and start the car and put in drive, go about 35 40 mph, should here noise.

for codes, hook up scanner and do a wheel speed pinpoint test.

    botta bing done! ffs....

  • @4HitsWilystyle your method is flawed. in nearly all instances, if you steer one way and the noise becomes less noticeable, the wheel bearing that is bad will most likely be the one on the same side as the direction you were steering (if you steer left and the noise lessens, the left bearing is likely bad). the noise generally becomes less noticeable when you steer toward the bad bearing because steering this way will remove weight from the worn bearing. jack it up and check for play on either.

  • @schrankm lol ok bud. U do it your way and I will do it my way....

  • @4HitsWilystyle hes right there bud.. sorry to say but you are wrong I turn right and noises goes away !! weight is on left side of care .. mean bad bearing on right side.. staytuned next vid we change back right...

  • @Crazylogie lol

  • @Crazylogie i know a quite a little about automotive mechanics. i was willing to bet that my method of listening as you steer either way would reveal the problem bearing. it seems as though it worked for you. now you know a GOOD way of determining a suspected bad wheel bearing.

  • @4HitsWilystyle lol replace GOOD bearings if you want to but i've never been wrong in determining a bad wheel bearing's location. even logie said i was exactly right.

  • @schrankm you are very right !!! it was the back right that was making the noise !! will poast part #2 in a day

  • @4HitsWilystyle you missed the video i guess of me going to see the tire shop / repair shop dick... I was told by two shops it was front right and they drove it ffs... but its all fixed now...

  • i seen a guy fix one a these heer things once!

  • less dicked than what I haf ta drive at the moment /:

  • i think he likes ur nuts

  • Theres an occurence in tyres where on occasion they can develop a flat spot that can be sometimes mis diagnosed as a bad wheel bearing. Something to watch out for, other than that check each wheel, scan for trouble codes for your abs light, possible cause: damaged tooth ring causing a drop out in signal.

Beg me pard, just my 2 cents worth

  • how many keys do u have on that key ring

  • @matnew1984420 79.95 keys

  • also you should remove the center large nut with the wheel on so you dont stress the trans. beg ma pard

  • i could tell at 4:56 that the bearing was good there was no play in it.

  • @frevirg maybe so,,but if its turning like he says,,one part of the bearing has gone flat or seized.

  • @frevirg it did wiggle alittle

  • Hey Logie i have a question for you. If the male version is called a Bearingdick or a pizzadick etc etc...what would the female version be called then? Poligise

  • Technically isn't he looking at your wife's nuts???

  • why didnt you just get your buddy pug to do it..???

  • Friggen car repairs are such a pain in the ass ..... But ya can't live without em and the garages rape ya every time .. Do it yourself :-)-

  • Logie needs more remarks. Unless I'm early... You lucky man I had a Subaru Impreza Wagon and one of the back axel bearings was so bad that the axel broke off some how by the 45 degree lean of the wheel. When I tried to take the big nut off holding the axel in it would just spin and spin. I tried to remove the entire thing like you 2 did and there was just no way. Had to end up scrapping it. A new rear clip cost more than the car was worth. It use to be awd but the rear broke so it was a fwd lol.

  • 5:27 i gotta impact that wood have sucked that off no prob

    logie im nervous

    friggan berrings.

  • Ya didnt' even diagnose er boys!

  • @DrJohnBecker i agree my good sir you can tell it wasnt the hub

  • @frevirg lol stay tuned cause yer wrong

  • @DrJohnBecker what do you mean?? did you miss the video where i talked to two dicks both saying front right ?

  • @Crazylogie I guess I did miss that video. Pologize big times!

  • did you smoke like 18 ciggabutts during this replacement?

  • Lol "He wants to measure my nut" Made my day thanks logie.

  • hilarious vid logie

  • most people replace the inter and outer on both sides. The reason is if one fails it effects the other side as well.

  • yay for new technology crap in cars..

  • boys did you test to see which wheel bearing it was before hand??? takes two mins....son of a bitch boyz

  • @barriejimmy two places told me front right... soooo

  • Look a Black Squirrel in the road, Logie throw him a nut

  • omg take your nut off
