Health insurance corporations - like any corporation - owe their first duty to their stockholders. If they sacrifice even a small amount of $ to some good cause, the law says they've betrayed their stockholders. The profits they earn represent the money they do NOT pay out to their customers, the insured. Wake up................

Hey Russel, good action for beeing there.

I live in the Netherlands and we always had goverment healt insurance. I can't believe that a diabethic can have this problems for "simpel" medicine. If we have a problem just see the doctor or go to the hospital we pay like 110,- euro's a month. If you have nothing that year you will apply for a 250,- euro's refund. Cat scans or whatever help you need.

Doctors over charge the insurance company then they pass the expense over to us.There malpractice insurance is high because they screw up all the time. there not as smart as they think they are.

im concerned about manditory vaccinations because i still dont trust our government. my immune system is better than ever! i never caught swine flu, never caught aids, never caught h1n1, never caught avian flu, never caught hep anything, nor have become allergic to cats, dogs, pets, and i dont bruise easily, do good in extreme cold, and hot. i get sick twice a year when seasons change, thats it. im a human being, not a chemical experiment. our hospitals sell us shit we dont need. why? STOP!!!!!!

I know what the President is trying to do and appreciate it. However, I am concerned about these BIG PHARMA rumours. I would like the President to address these and also explain whether the final bill will still include the public option? The New York Times is implying there won't be one!
