  • he wants to get of drugs so he joins the entertainment industry....oh fuck off...

meanwhile clever people are watching things that expand the mind..

  • "you will you dumb bell"

  • i hope he earns millions and has a wonderfull life

  • Wtf world thats all it takes to get all that -.-

  • Makes me wanna cry:(

  • LOL the girlfriend's in it for the money

  • @mattutubematt lol i never heard about her before they found his talent .

  • Look at his teeths...white and shiny! Then watch video when he were homeless, ugly and brown yellow teeth. Hes soooo lucky person!

  • I hope everyone finds something within themselves if hard times ever come upon them. There are going to be plenty of hard times ahead! Don't wait for salvation! Find it within yourself. Question those that impose their rules.

  • This is very inspiring, but at the same time it shows how unfair the world really is.

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't want anything to be taken away from this man, but seriously, all that wealth, just for a voice he was born with.

Millions of other people will never have such fortune, even though they are humanly equal.

  • @Creequ - I don't see how this is "unfair." Ted is using the gift he was given. For him, it was his voice, for which he honed his skills years ago. He is now putting those skills back into use. For the rest of us, we all have different gifts. The point is to use what you have for the good of others and for your own fulfillment. Some skills are more profitable than others. That's just life. We just need to do the best we can with what we have.

  • He was a crack head and now he is fucking rich

  • Keep going Ted... Don't let us down

  • At least give thx to the people that recorded u and uploaded the video, thanx to them hes known :)

  • His girlfriend looks like a gold digger.

  • He does the Macn chesse commercial!!! :D

  • TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!!!

  • @errorstudios its not some magical wizard. Its a savoir that everyone should be thanksful for. Sadly, its not happening.

  • God Bless Him

  • goosebumps goosebumps

  • The cry is fake.

  • @SuntzuMocro your fake

  • @PvtGermanWagz - just think of what Ted will do for the homeless community. I'm sure he'll reach back and help. To those who asked where Ted's family was when he was on the streets, understand that Ted is an addict and that until HE was ready, NO ONE could help. Fighting addiction is hard work. Great job and many blessings to Ted, to those who helped and to all who are waiting for their golden moment!

  • @errorstudios Ted has every right to thank God for his blessings. He is not ignoring the fact that 'people' helped him but is thanking God for creating the opportunity to meet those people - being where he was when they 'discovered' him, for the fact that they reached out to him with an amazing opportunity when they could have kept driving. You may not believe in God and that's your right. But don't discount others who do. I'll bet dollars to donuts that someone who loves you prays for you too.

  • All that money? Why does Cathy 1:32 still look like she homeless? o_O

  • Never give up, Ted!

  • He seems like the most gracious dude in the world.

  • It wasn't god that did it for this man it was the kindness of people, the public who got behind him. I hate it when people praise a magical sky wizard over the people who genuinely helped give him exposure and the opportunity.

    :(

  • awh i'm so happy for him(:

  • I will buy his book now that I know it exists... lots of people dream of going from rags to riches or just even kicking the terrible addiction of crack cocain.. but for him to be living on the streets as a homeless person begging for change.. but still pursuing his vocal dreams..who still makes money from a passionate profession is amazing. This guy's voice is not the only thing that shines out about him.

  • Great story. Can't wait to read his book.

  • this guy sounds like he'd make a good sports commentator.

  • FAKE....Don't be stupid people, he doesn't look like hobo, it is a perfect commercial for him to become radio star...slumdog millionaire kinda thing...nice voice btw.

  • @fuxanspaic I hope you're joking and not really that stupid :)

  • @MrNewff No, I'm not kidding but I think that you have a very limited way of thinking

  • This really is hopeful. Gives me inspiration. I will follow Ted and buy the book.

  • I feel for him! :D

  • HE IS SO COOL ^u^

  • Thumbs up if you saw ps3!

  • Man, he should run for president. He's been there. seen it, done it and gotten out. A good example Americans need nowadays.

  • amazing

  • As inspiring as this is, it's kinda sad that in order for a person to rise above being homeless they have to be insanely talented and be lucky enough to get discovered.....all other homeless people are pretty much screwed....

  • 2:11 he looks like obama.

  • DAE notice the awkward 'But' at 1:34? (Start at 1:30)

  • @rememberthecobras That being said, this guy chose the right path. Good for you Ted!

A miracle story, truly. Stay clean brother.

  • i like how ET is bragging about helping this guy.

  • я говарит курю крэк бухаю теперь дома а не на улице,есть даже одежда

  • 30-ти уебкам не понравилось

  • NOW THATS why i put cocaine in my Mac n Cheese!

  • You know what I don't understand? Apparently this man has a great family that loves him, but where were they when he was on the streets? Doesn't really seem like much of a loving family to me, just seems like a bunch of moochers.

  • @Ps2dude87cp As far as I can understand from the video, he only have his girlfriend/fiancee, and all the other people are from the various studios (mostly ET, I guess) who decided to help him. The only family he had was his mother.

  • @DoanDavid So he has a girlfriend now that he's famous and I don't think his mom was living on the streets with him so, where did she come from?

  • @Ps2dude87cp He hadn't seen his mum for ten years (it's not easy getting from one side of the US to the other with no cash). They were able to reunite after he landed the job. She didn't even know he was still alive. As for his girlfriend, I don't know. She doesn't look like the typical gold digger type.

  • He has mastered the Thu'um

  • This is such a wonderful story. Nothing like a happy ending. Thank God for ET

  • Everyone deserves a second chance...

  • now there goes a man who appreciates what God has done in his life....God is great!!! God bless him... this makes me so happy

  • Good story.

  • its been a year already

  • lets just hope he stays off drugs for good

  • He seems like such a nice guy. Such a nice story.

  • I'm so very happy for you Ted, yes God is so good! Congratulations and keep up the good work...

  • Such a beautiful story. I hope he will have a long and good life.

Every person needs help of some kind. Sometimes a helping hand is realy that. God bless his angels.

  • why is here the possibility to click dislike? this guy is epic!

  • his very fortunate...he never gave up on hope, wow! now i know anyone can make it through life. :)

  • This story is very good title for movie.

  • With all that money he has now why doesnt he help some of his homeless friends?

  • @donpoppito1 I'm sure he does do some charity work, it do

  • Honestly, i dont pity this man. And i dont understand why they pin him as some miracle story. The drugs and alcohol didnt give him that "golden voice". If he drank and smoked himself to oblivion, and got a break to turn life around because of his voice and a youtube video, why are people so proud of that?

  • @B3a7inU "why are people so proud of that?" < Well, I suppose everyone's happy to see someone so down and out get a chance to turn his life around. What is it you find hard to understand? It's a heartwarming story, that's all. You do have a heart, I hope, right?

  • @michaelrose93

Indeed I do have a heart. Unfortunately, it takes a bit more than this to warm it.

  • @B3a7inU

Wouldn't expect some douchemonger like you (who probably has had everything since birth) to understand anything that has to do with misfortune.

  • @tankdogg937

    Hahaha....

  • Obama when he falls off the capitalist throne.

  • Instead of thanking God all the time, thank the human beings who supported you.

  • I hope he can keep it together.

  • he should thank the man who filmed him!! =)

  • @89Mahs Oddly enough, the original video from the first person who filmed him, was flagged by the media and was removed :P.

  • @89Mahs Thank God ;)

  • Those with talent don't have to do shit to earn their keep, those without will have to try their hardest and barely make out

  • This is now the running example of how going viral, being picked up by major corporate interests and making valuable industry connections can drastically alter a life.

    That wasn't sarcastic.

  • What a great story.. thank GOD and work of some great people...

  • This is a movie.I think Will Smith should play the lead.

  • Ted Williams is so amazeingly emotional and all over seems just like a bloody nice guy.

He absolutely deserved this second chance at life.

  • I wish something like this happened to me, this is literally what I want to do career wise... :(

  • god or youtube

  • @WunHunDread Youtube.

  • Well done Ted, Im proud of you!

  • very beautiful and amazing story =)

  • my first comment on youtube, AM HAPPY FOR YOU!

  • "This closet...I couldn't have prayed for anything like this"....

Why the hell is the media portraying this guy as some sort of hero when he is an irresponsible asshole. He is a father of nine children: seven girls and two boys. None of which he has ever provided support for.

How about praying and helping for your children instead of a damn closet.

  • @smilereceive They aren't portraying him as a hero. They are showing a man who threw away his life, hit rock bottom, and then was able to rise from that rubble. To me the reason he says, "This closet...I couldn't have prayed for anything like this", it's basically a way to show how we take small things for granted.

  • @LATINOHEATforLIFE it doesn't come across like that at all. The fact that he never mentions the importance of his family with so many children is disturbing. And don't tell me he does he for reasons of privacy. He's invited the cameras into his home and will do anything to promote himself. There are MANY, MANY more people deserving of far more attention than this idiot.

  • @smilereceive

I suppose you are one of them right? AHAHAHA

  • lol his fucking house is like 5 times bigger than mine, fuck you america

  • This guy should be an inspiration to anyone who sits around thinking they can't do anything with their lives because they are a "victim". Get off your ass, make something of yourself. Ted did, you can too.

    We all can.

  • Beautiful!! I'm glad things are working out for Ted, the man with the golden voice.

  • Praise God ... through his blessing I can believe that with faith anything is possible for us all.

  • looks like obama on roids

  • 26 people have a golden voice too, but are still living under a bridge and smoking crack.

  • @Colbsdotcom where the fuck did they get a computer/phone from where they can dislike?

  • TBH his voice is quite generic and uninteresting. There are thousands of people who sound exactly like him.

  • GREAT!!! KEEP SHINNING.GOD IS GREAT!!!

  • :')

  • happy to hear he is doing well :)

  • HEYYYYYYY....25 PEOPLE MADE A MISTAKE AND HIT DISLIKE....

  • i think a little bonus should be given to the person who put up his video on youtube in the first place. fyi - it wasn't me. just saying!

  • stay humble! great story!

  • This is amazing

  • Inspiration..yea he would look like Obama if Obama was that skinny lol

  • It whas youtube user ritchey that filmed him in the first place and make it go viral on youtube. then somehow they took it down for copyright and uploaded it as their own

  • he looks like obama if obama was a EX crackhead!

  • ET is NOT very humble

  • AWWW god bless him :)

  • Wow. This is so wonderful!

  • I'm happy for Ted.

As for all this weed talk in the comments...

Religion kills and maims and ruins more families and lives every minute than weed ever has. Should we ban the bible or koran? Would it matter? We all make choices, now please shut the fuck up and take your place among those that would ban sodomy or being not-white.

  • Dude when u hear that guy's voice....mayn iono. I can't imagine how a guy with that voice could be a drug addicted homeless.

  • Closet and mic recording in one place? GENIUS!

  • That's amazing how one viral video, changed his life for the better!

  • Im so very happy for him :)

  • kinda bullshit, i cant even find a job yet this homeless guy got so lucky. GG

  • that girl is beat

  • @ballaj69 Then you must have spent a lot of money on hookers.

  • Very inspiring.

  • If anyone deserves it this guy does!

  • I are happy for him.I hope more people will get a new life.Dont give hope...maybe some day we will be ok :)

  • Really happy to hear that he's doing great now!

  • I'm happy that this guy made something out of his talent. He really inspires me to follow my dreams too :). If only I had my break like this guy. Check out my videos if you like music!

  • @DemHoodNiggs just do crack ruin your life then sing to a passing car and youll get your big break bro high five right?

  • Kinda looks and sounds like Obama

  • @DIHORY Racist fuck.

  • The nigga can sing, but can he work?

  • i'm glad that hi have a good life now :) hi deserve this :D go go ted ^^

  • GO BOBCATS! Well done, Ted.

  • He didn't thank the internet :(. Anyhow I'm really happy for this man, that he got a second chance to put his life straight.

  • Why do we help people only by interest? It is obvious that he was helped because they needed his voice. Why not helping all the people in need? This is not an example of true love and only true love lasts forever.

This kind of love is like water mixed with vinegar, the same Jesus refused on the cross.

  • I'm happy for you, great job.

  • Well that's just great. :)

  • I'm happy for him lol.

  • Я счастлив за этого человека!

  • Wow! He is now living better than me, lol!

  • that proes homless people can rise up if they have a chance

  • God , you are a fucked up weirdo , i dont get it

  • Internet lives saved: 1. Internet lives ruined: 215,356 and counting...

  • good job, internet.

  • Nice. now he is a rich Hollywood bitch

  • If youve ever wanted to become a video game tester but dont want to go though all the schooling and hard work just check out my profile for a great opportunity!

  • he sounds like obama O.o

  • GET BUTT NEKKID BY THE FIREPLACE!!! Woo! Ted Williams Rock!

  • Really happy to see he didn't burn out or relapse to who-knows-what after being picked up. Had been wondering about what happened to him, actually.

  • Aw that's great.

  • america: we bring them up then we put em down. hopefully this guy can keep the life he has, but et is going to switch back to gossip news and focus on the negative celebrity stuff.

  • Drugs are death for everybody

  • To all the Ron Paul supporters out there, marijuana and other drugs quite often (usually) leads to someone ending up on the street pandhandling, homeless, and also in financial/health straits. Ted Williams kicked drugs and dependence to the curb, and now look where he is. Drugs inhibit your motivation and your ability to function as a normal person. I believe Ted Williams would tell you that marijuana and other drugs should be banished. Romney 2012.

  • @MrDoozy2000 I've never heard of anyone ending up on the streets solely because of weed. Marijuana has no addictive substances in it and has more positive affects than negative, which is why it is commonly regarded to as medicine now. Marijuana is on a totally different end of the drug spectrum than hardcore drugs like cocaine, meth, and heroin. In fact, alcohol kills a hell of alot more people a year than weed has in all it's existance.

  • @MrDoozy2000 If you are proposing that marijuana is a gateway drug then you are mistaken. An educated person who knows the addictive effects of cocaine heroin or meth; who knows the biochemistry of its addictiveness wouldn't dare try them. Even IF they were already using marijuana.

It is like saying having sex (in general) leads to hardcore BDSM or porn addiction.

  • @robobrain10000 you gotta start somewhere, a large percent of addicts dont just go do some coke one day they start with weed and work their way up

  • @howycwap But, marijuana isn't addictive. It is like any other drug like Alcohol or nicotine or chocolate. Like come on, smoking nicotine is more addictive than marijuana.

  • @robobrain10000 all things can be addictive, pop can be addictive it just takes ALOT of it to make you become dependant. but even if you are not addicted to it, you have 3 choices, continue with weed, quit altogether, or move on to a better drug with a better high. and thats why they say marijuana is a gateway drug because it leaves some people wanting more so they move on. a person ive known for quite some time is now doing painkillers where he was just smoking before. dont be so naive.

  • @howycwap Weed isnt addictive. When i was a kid my friends and i smoked a ton of weed, but at the same time we went from smoking an ounce a day, to none for months. It just depended on weather we felt like spending money on it. Its no more addictive than a slice of chocolate cake. For the most part, none of us ever did any other drug.

This ONE person you know probably has an addictive personality. You're the naive one if you think a single person proves you right.

  • @callowaymotorcompany a single. there are many people that agree with me and many people that are obviously walking evidence. i dont have time to type out every story and experience i have with people moving up to the next drug. and you missed what i said just because you guys didnt get addicted doesent mean someone else can't. think about the people that literally cannot stop eating cake they got that way because of how much cake they ate, they get pains when they dont eat cake

  • @callowaymotorcompany

Marijuana may not be biologically addictive, but there has not been enough research conducted to say either way. It is, however, most certainly habitually addictive and there is no denying that. You speak out against howycwap using anecdotal evidence then turn right around and do the same thing.

  • @ZagaxFlash Its not addicting in ANY way. "habitually addictive"? Sources please. He used ONE guy as an example, who wasnt even addicted to pot, it was to pills. Irrelevant. Did you even read his post?

Being an actual stoner, needless to say a know a lot of them. None were addicted. None felt an urge for more. None needed a fix. None moved on to drugs because of marijuana.

    Addictive personality =/= addictive substance

  • Comment removed

  • @ZagaxFlash I am not going to lie, Marijuana IS NOT ADDICTIVE, but you can develop a psychological dependency. But you can say the same for video games and pretty much anything else. The difference is that addiction is caused by the substance, and psychological dependency is caused by you. Either way as long as you stay healthy and eat right marijuana will never hurt you. So why are you posting this? what's your point?

  • @ZagaxFlash I smoked pot almost every day from freshman year to beginning of senior year. I had to quit because of testing reasons and I had NO PROBLEM. It was hard to sleep because I used it to get to bed a lot but that's normal for anything you use to help get to sleep. Now I have 4 months until the testing is over and I'm gonna blaze that shit up every fucking day because I enjoy it and I have fun, also a couple medical reasons. I love pot, I don't need it.

  • @howycwap I'd say ALCOHOL is the gateway drug, not weed. Booze is almost always the first thing teens/kids get into because it's super easy to access.

  • @Dystopia1980 really? i would of never associated alcohol with any more hardcore drugs. i agree tha its probobly the first drug people try, but i wouldt say it leads to say coke or heroin
