@enemyian The choreography would have changed. Yuen Wo Ping choreographs each scene perfectly fitted to the capabilities of the actor. Jet Li would have different moves and a different fighting style for Seraph.

I think out of all three movies Seraph was the best fighter. Neo might be able to beat him but that's only because for one Neo can stop bullets so everyone is forced to fight hand to hand or at least melee and he is not bound by the laws of the matrix.

I think colin chou is the man. He owned the two matrix films he was in, and made keanu look really bad. Keanus inexperince in martial arts is clearly visible, but colins expertis is also clearly there as well. If you are a fan, I recommend flashpoint. Great movie with colin chou and donnie yen.

Seraph is quite possibly the strongest program within the matrix. He's made to "protect that which matters most" so basically he has to be superior to anything within the matrix, even agents. He even mentioned himself that he has beaten Smith (Revolutions). I can't see him as powerful as Neo though cause he is still just a program bound by the laws of the matrix, where Neo is not.

Seraph did have an important role at one point: Seraph was one of the former "One" programs. Seraph was human at one point, but when he reloaded the matrix and chose the same option as the other ones (besides neo), his one side chose to come back from the machine mainframe through the trainman. This is how he comes to be employed by the merovigian.

All the ones have human sides and sys_admin (one) sides to them. all the ones before neo chose to reinsert there code so the cycle could start again
