A HAAAA indeed. Saw IB in the Polytechnic of Wales in about 1986, just as they had released Calling All the Heroes. I was about 15 feet from the stage and just ROCKED MY ASS OFF that night. All my buddies were sitting in the bar next door wondering who the hell it was. I couldn't educate them afterwards. But at least I went home HAPPY!
awesome band just learned about them.it is sad the music biz cannot recognise talent such as this.looking for the LIVE IN JAPAN dvd by this band anyone have it.thanks map47
Yes, loved these boys, and this Album, with it's big, anthemic, moving sounds made me smile with youthful joy, and i chucked all my Yes Albums to one side after hearing "Once Around The World"
that I'd never heard of before I saw them open for Jethro Tull in 1989. About 30 seconds into their opening song (Kiss Like Judas) I was already a fan. It wasn't just their awesome music, but the way they controlled the stage...they were mezmerizing! Frank Dunnery was the consumate lead man, and the band performed brilliantly. They should have been one of the biggest bands ever...but alas, "brilliance eludes the masses"
Saw these guys lots of times when I was 17-19 years old - absolutely fantastic time of my life!! Have seen them recently with John singing and saw Frank at Birmingham on his own, just wish they'd all get back together one more time.
The best most live polished band I have ever seen what a sound at this stage they were one hell of a live band ! remember not being able to hear for a week after standing right next to the amps !!!!!!
aah...the tinnitus, remember that well. Pardon? Good to see musos like them actually enjoying what they do. All too easy to forget the bassist and the drummer. What would It Bites be without them? I wonder if they realise quite how much they are loved?
I saw them earlier that year ! at the apollo London !! comfy seats and table's upper balcany !! when you could still drink and smoke .. without being called a lepper !!! i had been married only three years then !!! ...
Now . Single LOL .. I kept the Vinyl .. She took the cd's LOL .. F**Ked over LOL ..
What a superb band !!! check out ukrelicsband .. i'm the fat single bloke on guitar LOL
give 'em a break. It was complex enough in the studio, let alone a live thing. The joy of playing is there to see surely? I loved the album track btw. The thing with fans is they probably know the music better than the band and can pick up on and differences between the studio and live versions. It Bites aren't a jukebox
serious answer !! LOL he or she plays a mean keyboard .. so what the hell .. in for a penny or in for a pounding LOL ?? just a great band !!! in my opi opio opinee ... F*ck it .. i can't spell .. in my view LOL ..

The leadvocal / 2nd vocal doesn't seem to work live very well.
At least, not during this song.
Shame, it's wonderful song with beautiful vocal melody (if done properly)

Is John Beck a chick pretending to be a dude or a dude pretending to be a chick?
Serious question, believe it or not.

Serious answer, neither. He's a pretty bloke. Or was. Then. None of them is eye candy any more let's say. :) :) :)
Still knows 's way round a keyboard though.
