I've been dealing with an emotional vampire for a while, LOL! It was a challenge put in my path but I figured out how to deal with her, as you said.
I stopped reacting & started acting happy as if I did not give a damn at her hateful & obvious antics. I noticed her becoming angry, I could literally watch her fuming, she had to sit in her own bad energy, unable to pass it on to me. I was laughing inside at her, knowing I had finally figured her out.

When someone wrongs me I cant rest until I wrong them 10 folds back. I even take the time out to meditate all on the wrong doing i can do to them. Cut their break line, slash their tires, beat up their children, break their windows, and other stuff like that. Once I I've decided on the safest plan I do it and feel 100% better. Saw a doco on 'psychic vampires'. It was this morbidly obese pug-nose goth tramp who claimed she could drain energy from people by waving her hands in front of them and it gave her 'magical powers'. But she was an ethical vampire & made sure it was OK with her victims to 'steal their energy'.
My guess: It's a psychotic delusion of someone who needs to make a little megalomaniac allegory in order to artificially build some resemblance of self-esteem and control in their life.

this is a great video. I'm related to an emotional vampire and it so psychologically draining and it prevents you from thinking objectively. Additionally this was also emotionally abusive and took my kindness for weakness. the only thing you can do for you sanity is to cut them loose. Those people are not worth your time.

Allthought it's a choice, at's VERY hard to avoid them, and overlook them. If you out you'r self, or showes the world that you are just a little bit sad. They'l take the change, and they'l let you down. Not vampires, not anyting like that! They are humans just like you and me!

Happiness is NOT a choice!!! Happiness is caused by a chemical in your brain called SEROTONIN. You can have everything in your life (money, god, women, etc.) but you'll still be unhappy without serotonin. There is nothing you can do about it.

When someone wrongs me I cant rest until I wrong them 10 folds back. I even take the time out to meditate all on the wrong doing i can do to them. Cut their break line, slash their tires, beat up their children, break their windows, and other stuff like that. Once I I've decided on the safest plan I do it and feel 100% better. My Grand Mom wrong me one time when i was 12 years old said i was lying 10 years later I pop all her tire and gave her dog a bottle of asprin. Now im 100% happy

i get it, dont hold in things. let it go. i looked up the types of emotional vampires and a guy friend i know puts me on an emotional rollercoaster, who makes me happy one minute, and sad the next. and hes lke the popular guy! and every time i would talk to him, i end up upset in some way. i had to not talk to him for a month before i could try again. and even when i talked to him, i was still left emotionallly drained! emotional vampires, are very dangerous, no matter who you are!

I want to be a Psychic vampire. It's better than sucking blood which is kind of gross if you think about it. Not every vampire burns in the sun since only Euro vampires do that and others get weakened of their powers or just plain walk in daylight.
Sparkling ONLY exists in Twilight-land, never in other vampire legends.

I know someone who is more than emotional vampire, she needs so much and reaches out for all her needs. When she walks in a store she has to have everyone wait one her like a star. Especially in a shoe store, then she don't buy anything. She would make them bring out five pairs of shoes and in different colors and try them on and make the people in the store work hard then walk out.
It gets much worse.

At first I was going to watch this video because I thought it was making fun of Twilight. However, once you started talking about emotional vampires, I continued to listen. You have alot of good points. My father is quite similar to an emotional vampire. If I am around him too long, I become very depressed, self-loathing, and I do not wish to be around other people. However, as soon as I am in someone else's prescence, I usually end up feeling much better. Its not all of his faul, though.

i fell asleep. being an emo vamp isn't a mental disorder, many can get on with their own lives. many like me, i'm no les vamp and take it hard when people say i am, but being a vampire, or having a vampire in the family isn't something you shoudl all worry about.

Saw a doco on 'psychic vampires'. It was this morbidly obese pug-nose goth tramp who claimed she could drain energy from people by waving her hands in front of them and it gave her 'magical powers'. But she was an ethical vampire & made sure it was OK with her victims to 'steal their energy'.
My guess: It's a psychotic delusion of someone who needs to make a little megalomaniac allegory in order to artificially build some resemblance of self-esteem and control in their life.

it is really hard when the person you look up to is a emotional vampire!...i luv my dad very much but he has done things i wont forget...he smokes weed, has 4 kids, is an achoholic, and yells at me and my sister way to much!....im 12 and i hav been thinking about suicide scince i was 8!...i was hospitalized about a month ago for almost killing myself but it didnt help at all!!!......i hav a therapist now but its no help either..I WNT TO DIE!!!!!!!!

this is a great video. I'm related to an emotional vampire and it so psychologically draining and it prevents you from thinking objectively. Additionally this was also emotionally abusive and took my kindness for weakness. the only thing you can do for you sanity is to cut them loose. Those people are not worth your time.
