Great video. Just as a suggestion, in order to get the butts off whole, I usually just put on some old - but clean - fingered oven mitts and just grab 'em.
JB I really love your videos. Only way they could be better is if they had me in them tasting some of them excellent lookin vittles. Keep em coming boy.

Fantastic video JB! Looks like you had enough for an army! Loved seeing your Mom and Dad - your Mom looks more like she could be your sister, she is lovely. :) Happy 2011 to you and your family!
@papercuts777@papercuts777 Checkout the Brinkman Electric Smoker. I got one @ Home Depot for $70, and it works great. It's the Crock Pot of smokers, and it's only about 18 inches around, and 3 feet tall. Perfect for your balcony.

Hey JB, When I smoke the pork butts I always have the same problem you had mine always falls apart on my smoker. I usually let my pork butts rest about 20 to 30 minutes before I start pulling. I'm going to have to get me some of those bear claw pullers it looks easier than using 2 forks. Take care!
When those butts started disintegrating when you were just trying to pick them up, I started drooling. DAMMIT BOY! You've done up a feast fit for kings, and enough to feed a city. Those shots at the end did me in. Can I move in if I bring my own fork? And a sleeping bag?
Happy New Year, BOY! To you and all of your JB Juniors and JB assistants and JB wannabees, and even the JB dawgs and cats.
You don't need me to tell you how to cook a Butt.... once the butts hit 190, I always take them off, double wrap with foil, wrap them up in a old beach towel, and snug them into a cooler. Then leave them over night and in the morning they will be still warm. I kinda do it for the same reason you let a steak rest before cutting into it. Anyway, give it a try next time.... oh and it allow more flexibility with cooking, you don't have to get up early as you can cook them the day before.
mmmmm mac and cheese. i love crumblin a bunch of crisp bacon on mine over top the mac and cheese sauce but under the top layer of cheese mmmm good eats boyyyyyyy happy new years
