As and international observer who has studied this topic intensely It seems that the only way to bring peace to somalia and have it united is to carve up somalia so that each clan has its own little country, you then have each state appoint a set number of representatives to a governmental council in mogadishu so that no one clan feels alienated from the democratic process the islamists would be pacified by allowing them to participate as well. sound like a good idea everybody?
