Hello primitives apes Im from the year 2554 We are playing Battlefield 64,Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 16,Halo 39,GTA 53,Killzone 92 and Resistance 69 but we are STILL waiting for AGENT to come out
i used to think rockstar loves xbox gta 4 episodes were released first on xbox then ps3.. but after knowing agent is a ps3 exclusive.. im proud of my ps3! ^_^
how does Rockstar North have time to do all these games ?! in 4% years they got: Gta IV,Red Dead Redemption, La Noire,Agent,Gta V,Max Payne 3, well some of them are collaborations and some are realesing next year, but still ! they are amazing
STILL, the only exclusivity of PS3 that made me buy this console is HEAVY RAIN, from 2010. I love action and spying games, like Splinter Cell and Hitman, but this didn't interest me like those did.
@Bruno1986BR Meh, Heavy Rain is ok, I love it's originality, but there are too many other exclusives on Ps3 that at this point I have no reason to get a 360, except MAYBE for Halo.
I'd much rather see a Pirate game from Rockstar than anything else at the moment. It's the one type of game that i personally don't think any other game company has pulled off successfully so far, but i truly think that with a bit of help from another company Rockstar could pull this off. Though of course, Rockstar don't develop RPG's, and i think the game would have to be an RPG to be successful, as the Ocean would need to be massive and character leveling would be needed (IMO). or Medieval.
There's something about this game that tells me it will never be made. i think they will keep it on hold until 2015, then cancel it. If they want to cancel it, cancel it now

everyone knows the ps3's hardware is better than 360's hardware, the 360 has a better online sevice, i want this game to stay exclusive to ps3 so they can use all of the ps3's power, like naughty dog is doing with uncharted, i am all for exclusives, it does 2 things, it shows the power of that console, and it makes a universe, can you imagine xbox without marcus fenix or masterchief?, nintendo without zelda and mario?

@potatopac well its not been confirmed that it has been canceled...but keep in mind that R* has alot on its plate with GTA V and max payne 3, both said to release next year... although i a very exited to see what happens with this game (im hoping for a free roam/ RPG style game where you have wear intricate disguises and meet intresting and colourful characters from around the globe, while always on the look out for bad guys hiding in the shadows with a silenced pistol) maybe 2013

You know why LA Noire was dummed down? Because they didnt want it to be 6 discs on the xbox. The Xbox is holding games back, keep this one exclusive to PS3 Rockstar.

@jasonpwns I agree consoles are holding back games, but there is always going to be consoles. There is always going to be people that would rather sit on their couches and play on a reasonably priced, dedicated gaming system, then a beefy expensive upgrading gaming pc. I don't know why Sony would bother to take the risk of paying for exclusivity when it comes to this game, even on paper the game sounds like it more than likely will be crap. Sony did not pay for exclusivity, if that was the case then why did they not fight for GTA exclusivity? one big and established name. This is Rockstar kissing up to Sony so that they can use the sony fanbase as a testing ground for this game and more than likely it will end up on the Shitbox360 with Exclusive DLC which...
Sony must be giving Rockstar a pretty paycheck to keep something like this exclusive, they're basically cutting themselves off from half the market.
Also, don't make this a PS3 VS XBOX360. It's actually up to the game devs and Sony. So this may seem like an exclusive now, but it could become multiplat if Microsoft offer them a nice cut as well. But seriously, why would releasing this for other consoles ruin the game?

i dont understand why people wish for games to stay exclusive, and then talk about others being fanboys. I wish all gamers could have the ability to play whatever game on whichever system they had. gaming is about fun, not the competition of whose system is better. I loved ps2 and wanted a ps3 but they were sold out so i got an xbox. but i wasn't bitching when mass effect went multiplatinum. I just want to enjoy my games. and i really hope this one goes to everyone
@turnedagainst I have both systems and the only reason I would want this game to be exclusive for ps3 is because the graphics would be so much better that's about it but other than that idc what system you have as long as you like it have fun. Other people shouldn't say one is better than the other especially when they only have one system. I like PS3 better myself.
@turnedagainst Because if they keep it as an exclusive the graphics would be amazing. They had to "dumb down" GTA IV's graphics so it could work on the 360 which made the PS3 version kind of rough and blurry.
@MrMixer108 Thats pure nuisance. GTA 4 had very high end PC specs at time of its release and it was designed for Multiplatform. Just check Icenhancer 1.3 mod of GTA 4.
Also Playing GTA 4 on max settings requires an 8800GTX with a good Dual core processor or better and not to mention 4 GB of Ram and 1 GB graphics memory. Even if the game would have been designed for PS3 exclusively I dont think it would have toppled max setting or even High settings of PC.

@turnedagainst I don't understand why people don't understand the flaws of developing for multiple platforms. Multiplatform games, especially this generation, get greatly hindered and limited. The 360 simply can't do what the PS3 can do, and when developers make multiplatform games, they almost always try to make both version equal, which means the PS3 version wasn't even close to what it could have been. I honestly wish all games were PS3 exclusive(Well it's fine if it's on PC though).

@TheMaggitboy No, they really don't have equal flaws and they're not equal. They're different machines designed differently. Last I checked, the 360 doesn't use a 25 - 50 gb disk. It doesn't use 6 processors. Where do you see equality in this? Where?!!

Most remastered games, like GoW Collection, Prince of Persia etc are at full 1080p.

@SalientK I have no issues with a game being multiplatform, if it's good then I'm going to want to buy it, and the platform it's on will have little to no impact on that. What irks me, however, is when a game is said to be coming as an exclusive to a console, but then the makers turn around and bring it out on multiple platforms anyway. Either it's multiplatform, or it's exclusive. But don't lie to the public by saying it's exclusive when it's not just to create attention.
@AngryLoo Sometimes people change their minds for completely legitimate reasons. In this case I don't really see why it matters. If it turns out that it is going multiplatform, then that would be *good* news, not bad news. So they would be changing their mind for the better, and not for the worse.

@bigben1731 I honestly could not care less if the graphical capabilities are reduced by 2% for it to play on the 360. I'm not buying another console. Besides, the PS3 is the more limited console given its unconventional architecture. Sony brought the shoddy ports onto itself with that move, really, so you can't blame Rockstar for not wanting to deal with that.
@SalientK you do know 360 does hold multiplatform games back like ff13 and a massive downgrade in the graphics departments thanks to 360 get a ps3 they are alot affordable now what happens when it comes out and still there no 360 port you will need a ps3 to play the game

And the PS3 is not massively more powerful than the 360, believe it or not! If anything it only has a marginal advantage. So the difference in hardware is largely inconsequential. Get over it.

I also own 360 as well as PS3. One one thing i have seen is when exclusive games comes out onto PS3 they are pretty good in both graphics and performance & doesn't really suffer with Multi-Plat problems due to developer choices. ( Example = bayonetta / Vanquish )

This game COULD suffer if it went multi-plat where if it stayed as an exclusive 99% of the time that isn't a factor.

Even if it comes to XBL PS3 gamers would have been there and done that game before XBL gamers got to play it ( IF it wasn't an exclusive which so far it still is ) so there no problems really, and as everyone knows Rockstar has always favored PS so PS3 gamers would get the extra content as well lol.

@MrMixer108 Thats pure nuisance. GTA 4 had very high end PC specs at time of its release and it was designed for Multiplatform. Just check Icenhancer 1.3 mod of GTA 4.
Also Playing GTA 4 on max settings requires an 8800GTX with a good Dual core processor or better and not to mention 4 GB of Ram and 1 GB graphics memory. Even if the game would have been designed for PS3 exclusively I dont think it would have toppled max setting or even High settings of PC.

@turnedagainst I don't understand why people don't understand the flaws of developing for multiple platforms. Multiplatform games, especially this generation, get greatly hindered and limited. The 360 simply can't do what the PS3 can do, and when developers make multiplatform games, they almost always try to make both version equal, which means the PS3 version wasn't even close to what it could have been. I honestly wish all games were PS3 exclusive(Well it's fine if it's on PC though).

What irks me, however, is when a game is said to be coming as an exclusive to a console, but then the makers turn around and bring it out on multiple platforms anyway. Either it's multiplatform, or it's exclusive. But don't lie to the public by saying it's exclusive when it's not just to create attention.

Besides, the PS3 is the more limited console given its unconventional architecture. And the PS3 is not massively more powerful than the 360, believe it or not! If anything it only has a marginal advantage. So the difference in hardware is largely inconsequential. Get over it.

I also own 360 as well as PS3. One one thing i have seen is when exclusive games comes out onto PS3 they are pretty good in both graphics and performance & doesn't really suffer with Multi-Plat problems due to developer choices. ( Example = bayonetta / Vanquish )
