The BBC are utter shitbags in my honest opinion. They really are unbelievably bias in almost everything they report, certainly in thier international news. If a nation does not fit with nu-left, internationalist, neo-con, soft-Marxist goals then they are evil incarnate. There can't be many Gaddafi fans here, (I am not one) but I would hope most people recognise the lies, exhagurations and bias put out daily regarding this conflict! The BBC wants to actively shape events, this is not journalism.

Even now their webpage on the riots shows a black man escorting a white rioter. Such blatant bias!. I would like the BBC to be unbiased, not left or right, just unbiased honest reporting. This video seems to suggest a right wing BBC would be acceptable, Pro - BNP with liberal ideology, in favour of free markets and christianity, sharia law. BBC doesn't serve all license payers.

Only if you let yourself be. In order to imprison you they have to show that you have broken their contract but in law, you cannot be forced into signing a contract. THAT would be illegal. Therefore, do not sign up to their contract and there is nothing they can do. If they come to see your TV tell them to go away. It is not the BBC who come anyway but a contractor. If they threaten you, tell them you have no contract with them and demanding money with menaces is illegal. No sign. No contract.

The BBC is also biased for not complying with international regulations on legal standard names because it never uses the correct name, "Persian Gulf," in its reports. What it does is that it vandalizes a historical name, of which is a part of the Persian heritage. This is not only an insult to my country. But, it's also an insult to journalism as a whole, since it promotes inaccuracy and dishonesty, not to mention an insult to historical/geographical truth!

Thanks to the hutton enquiry. the BBC decided to investigate reports that the iraq dossiers 45 minute claim was sexed up then the source of this information dr david kelly ends up dead and the reporter who reported the story and the headofthe BBC are forced to resign. Yes I totally agree - newsrooms are staffed by people and all people have views. However the BBC is different from other new media in that we have to pay for it through taxation.

By the way the chap in this video was a BBC journalist for 25 years and has written an excellent book "Can We Trust the BBC?".

There needs to be a Media Act guaranteeing unbiased BBC reporting. It should be enforced retroactively. BBC reporters breaching the Act back during the Falklands War, the Miner's Strike, IRA coverage and CND campaigns all the way through to the present day should be tried and imprisoned for their crimes.
