  • hey this has been my favorite live album since its release in 1980 from buddakan.. the whole cd is great.. especially side 2.. but both sides really show clapton at some of his best blues and rock guitar ever.. it shows a sort of mature clapton.. everytime I play this, its full volume.. somehow clapton survived as many other greats didn't... but this is his trademark style... ....."CLAPTON IS GOD"

  • One of the greatest EC solos I've heard.

  • I've heard a few different versions of this song, but this just in a whole different league. The dirty sound he gets in the solo is astonishing. I can't believe it took me until the age of 51 finally to see him live. I love to play this in the car. Very, very, very LOUD!

  • Jesus. H. Christ.....this is just EPIC!!

  • I used to listen to this song every day with my dad on the drive into school when I was a kid and it's still one of my favourites.

  • thirty years of listening to this and I still love it.

  • Boogie woogie! Sweet Classic!

  • The guitar sound fantastic! really inventive and melodic- clucky and honky and the bit starting at 5:43 makes me want to punch a wall: a wall that is on FIRE!

  • oooooooooooh!! yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • menudo temaaaaa, yeahhhhh

  • This album ‘Just One Night’ is maybe the most underrated in EC's portfolio... what a tight band! He and Albert Lee working so well together; great synergy between them on guitar.

A 'wah wah masterpiece' with this here number... maybe the best version of this song, ‘Blues Power’ and ‘After Midnight’ in my humble opinion.

The album, one side Electric Blues, the other Rock n Roll at its very finest, is my favorite live album!

  • Best live version ever!

  • Holly sh... this is GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is the best recording of this song ever! Eric Clapton at his best on guitar and Leon Russell on piano!

  • miticooooo...eric the beast

  • Not nice, but f...... good!

Listen to that album, and youre sold for good.

  • nice
