  • Love the lead in with PJ!

  • I would kill (not litrallly) for the vibrato that you have. Tell me, How do you do that?

  • What's the song at 2:10?

  • @rch1407 Sounds like "The Wizard" by Black Sabbath.

  • Pearl Jam : )

  • @duroduro666 The first song with the Strat is "Bitch" by The Rolling Stones.

  • what's the first song that he played with the Strat. ?

  • Rats in the Cellar

  • Why there is no noise from strat pickups in your video?

  • @Ebanezzz Maybe its just an expensive one with a noisegate feature.

  • I've messed around with one of these things at guitar center. Does anyone know how well they interact with pedals, considering you have to have the gain up a considerable amount in order to get any kind of decent volume out of it????

  • Ive had my tiny terror for a couple years now and i still get excited every time i play through it. Its just such a great amp and Andy is such a good guitarist, he can make anything sound good, and good things sound amazing. PGS rocks!

  • Just bought a greenback loaded cab and changed my TT's tubes. It's like owning a brand new sound! It breathes tone!!!!!!

  • orange, the pride of England

  • you guys should get some HiWatt amps!

  • I couldn't resist singing along with Corduroy in the intro!

  • PEARL JAM

  • to much volume dude , you fucked the tone...

  • What kind of Les Paul is that? It sounds beautifully with all teh British amps!

  • That's the you're playing at 4:08? Sounds wicked!

I'm thinking of getting the Tiny Terror now.

    Thanks!

  • pearl jam :D

  • what effects do you use?

  • its wierd actually seeing him talk in person

  • @topdog2328 ikr finally i see the man behind the voice

  • This amp demo got me off my ass and into a shop to try it out. It really nailed the tone on the Stones' Can't you Hear Me Knockin, Zep's Rock and Roll, and Sabbath's Supernaut, so I bought one. I've had it for a month now and I couldn't be happier. Thanks Andy and PGS!

  • Rats in the cellar!!!

  • Sick Sabbath tone!

  • Lynyrd Skynyrd at 2:50 Perfect tone! haha Workin for MCAAAyy

  • I don't hear the difference between 7 and 15 watts I must be stupid

  • @theSavageHippie Well, the difference is easier to see when actually using the knobs, in a nutshell, it's easier to get that higher gain, more growly sound without pissing many people off with the 7 watt mode because the amp breaks up quicker on the lower wattage setting because there is less of what's called 'Headroom' that's why if you ever see what are known to be good clean amps (Fender Twin Reverb, Blackstar HT-40) they all have higher wattage so they can have more headroom.

  • rats in the cellar!! amazing review

  • Great amps. I had the chance to play one with an Epiphone Tony Iommi G400.

    Sounded amazing.

  • Workin for the MCA!!

  • is this amp loud enough to gig with?

  • what is tiny terror use for??is it an amp or smeting...why that it is put on the other amp cabinet.are they need to be conected together or what..????i dont understand the function and why it is put on the other amp cabinet..please help me

  • @yatghoz Tiny terror is a tube amp head, so basically it's just an amp, no speaker. That's why it is hooked to a cab.

  • What exactly is Andy doing at 2:41?

  • @MemorymanDL He bent the neck of the les paul to get a whammy bar like effect and started switching between the bridge and neck humbucker, maybe he also turned the volume of the neck pickup down to turn the switch into a killswitch. Anyways, the note turned into feedback while switching.

  • @MemorymanDL haha!!

  • hi PGS, I'm interested in buying a 10" tiny terror combo and I'd like to buy a cool booster, od or dist pedal with it, what would fit the combo or what kind of pedal would you like to use with it? my budget is about 200 dollars, and I play anything between blues and hard rock. (from john mayer till muse and radiohead and all clasic rock).

  • What I like in these videos is that the dude never play shitty riffs, wich is commonly done in all the other "proguitar" stuff

  • Rumble by Link Wray. Answered my own question. It was driving me nuts!

  • love this amp.

  • Pearl jam, Nice!

  • Where is the microphone in front of the cab ?

  • PGS ! What software are you using to get that guitar sound I hear when andy starts talking ???????

  • does it have an effects loop ??

  • well a tube amp is impossible to make truly clean, they always have alil bite. but this sounds much more pleasing than solid state shit

  • @nichr225256 Any tube amp can be dialed in to a sweet clean tone - crank the level, go easy on the gain, and roll back the volume knob on your guitar a few notches. With most tube amps, that's a pretty solid clean tone, and the Terror can get VERY clean, much cleaner than this video shows.

  • @frontmanmike As a builder of tube amps I can say for a fact that not every tube amp be dialed in to a clean tone. Maybe most, but certainly not all.

That said, my best friend just bought one of these and you are right about how well they clean up.

  • @nichr225256

Don't see the attraction to these amps other than the fact that they look cool.

The sound doesn't do much for me. Sounds brittle and lifeless. Lacks character. Very expensive too.

    Different strokes I guess.

  • @username91ification Everything about this post is wrong.

  • @nichr225256 This is not true at all. There are plenty of 6L6 tube amps that hardly distort at all. My mesa boogie lonestar has clean headroom out the wazzoo. I've played jazz standards completely clean with the amp at 6 or 7 for a club. But many brittish amps like orange and marshall dont clean up

  • @nichr225256 Fender? What?

  • Andy sure know a lot of tunes... Aerosmith .... amp sounds very good.

  • Hi, great demo!! Can u make a demo of the Orange Crush Pix 20 or 35 LDX solid state amps? Thinking to get one,Some say that they´re great, others they´re crap... thanks!!!

  • Comment removed

  • That was actually Rats in the Cellar by Aerosmith off of Rocks

  • hey man i got an ac15c1 and im looking for something that will sound a little different for recording. are the lower gain settings on this voxish because of the el84's?

  • @spencermaddoxmusic if you want to Vox-ish tones just get a Vox Night Train

  • I dont see a mic =)

  • What song is that at 4:00. I guess Aerosmith but?

  • @Johannore Last Child by *drumroll* Aerosmith!

  • @Johannore - Yep. Aerosmith with Last Child. But this guy gave it a much more bluesy groove imho! Good job!

  • Am I correct in thinking that this amp is similar to the Vox amps, because they all use EL84s in the power section? I don't know much about how the electronics work.

  • 2:56 Is Lynard Skynard Working For MCA

  • Very nice tone- what kind of Humbuckers are in your Les Paul?

  • Last child aerosmith

  • whats the song at @4:00 sounds like so much fun, i just cant place it

  • Last Child by Aerosmith. Off the Rocks Album, one of their greatest.

  • @TheGnarchitect Rumble by Link Wray

  • @MrRANDOMUSERNAME1 LAST CHILD=AEROSMITH

  • @TheGnarchitect part of it is from Ramble On by Led Zeppelin

  • @TheGnarchitect Sounds a bit like Lay down, Sally from Eric Clapton

  • @TheGnarchitect Sounds a little like "Last Child" by Aerosmith.

  • hi wats the song at the beginning?

  • @ToothyGus Pearl Jam - Corduroy

  • What is the song a 2.56 please ?

  • about a year ago, i had a dream where i was in some sort of factory or manufacturing company, and all i saw were massive amounts of these orange colored amps, orange colored cabinets, you name it. it was incredibly loud, even in such a large place because ppl were blasting these things at such high volumes. i remember the tones were brilliant, and i was discouraged when i saw the price tag. when i awoke, i was curious and typed in 'orange colored amps' into google. to my amazement, they exist :3

  • Pearl jam, hell yeah!

  • that's what Andy looks like!

  • how is the cabinet called ur playing through?

  • sounds great. would it be good for country? check my video to listen to my tone

  • Hey PGS! love your reviews! Just curious though, you guys going to do a review on the Orange Dark Terror soon?? I'm interested in acquiring one. Thanx abunch

  • is this a good amp for an A Day to Remember sound?

  • @coolHalo2Glitches try a Krank Rev Jr Pro

  • Aerosmith YEAH!!!

  • tough choice b/t this and a blackstar ht5 for a good practice amp.

  • Are you making reviews in a black lodge?

  • @b8ck8tt did you not see the dancing midget behind the speaker cab?

  • would this work well with a marshall jcm 900? and be able to fill up small gigs at like a gym or something?

  • The Wizard, Black Sabbath: Orange Tiny Terror is perfect for Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin, but also for more blues/bluesrock stuff as well. All in all amazing Class- A valve amp !

  • I would love to run a Big Muff at max vol/sustain into this baby at max Gain. I feel like this would go great with some fooz pedals :)

  • Sorry for this noob question, but, i am thinking to buy this amp ... To put it in standby, i have to put the right switch to 'STBY', right?

  • Hey, does anyone know about the Dark Terror? Every Expo demo I have seen has been using it for metal. Do you think that it would be a good amp for non-metal purposes?

  • PEARL JAM HELL YEAH

    :D

  • Hey andy are you guys guna be doing the dark terror any time soon?

  • Orange amps are just Marshall's without balls. I'm not the largest fan of Marshall but for a company to do a bad copies of marshall and charge astronomic prices for a tiny bit of kit. Can't see the fuss and please don't insult me by saying I don't get.

  • seriously PGS what's this guys name? it doesn't matter what amp is being demo'd this dude is the best guitarist to ever live.. i want references to more material of this guy enstead of bookmarking all of his amp demos

is this guy in a arena band or something? dude. you're a genius i swear. please get back at me.. what model Les Paul is that?

  • MCA! :D

  • corduroy lol

  • You look like a kid in this video Andy!

  • 22 people need their hearing tested!!

  • I'm going to be putting my tiny terror up for sale. I've been playing it for almost two years with a strat knok off or a squire strat, and through an epiphone 1x12 cab. If you're not going to go all the way with this amp, dont bother. Use a good guitar. Play through an orange 1x12 or any 4x12. Dont cut corners and make damn sure all you like the distortion it gives because there is only one flavor with minimal seasonings. This one trick pony has a mean trick and if you get it youll love it

  • this sounds good but i have to disagree with the vox argument. No better clean than Vox. none.

  • Can you play with just the lunchbox, and no cabinet?

  • @TheTelecaster14 From what I understand, it'll blow the amp if you don't have it plugged into a cab (With the correct impedance also. If it was wrong it would also blow. haha)

  • @TheTelecaster14 No. Heads don't have speakers... You can severely damage the amp by doing that.

  • does this amp have alot of hum or buzz?

  • when this review gets 500,000 hits, PGS should give one away :)

  • took me more than a year to figure out that old theme song was in g minor. just never tried before, i guess.

  • I regret not having the money to keep this thing and my Fender... This is just pure tone.

  • What are the pickups on that les paul guitar?

  • God this thing smokes.

  • Andy--whatever they're paying you it's not enough. All your demos are 100% professional. Where is this thing assembled?

  • Andy--what ever they're paying you it's not enough. All your demos are 100% professional. Where's this thing assembled?

  • I have the combo but I think on 7 watts it just cuts the top end howl off a bit and dulls the sound a little. It is an amazing amp tho now ive got to grips with it, I must admit to not liking it at the begining but letting it howl while my neighbour was out was a life changing moment :0))

  • Hey can someone please answer my question?

If i buy this amp, will it be loud enough for a gig? and if not, what do i do? do i plug another amp in or something? i have always been confused on the setup for large gigs

    Thanks!

  • I have the TT.i like it a lot its agressive and brutal. But i also own the vox nighttrain in my opinion the nighttrain blows the TT away.i think its a much better amp and more versatile.

  • you cant go wrong with a pearl jam song !!!

  • this thing has so much tone, so much everything in that little amp

  • So this is what that guy looks like :D

  • Dear Andy, how come your legs end to your knees?

  • Andy is better that Paul form guitar world

  • THANKS for showing sc and humbuckers ;)

  • Skynynrd workin for mca!!! hell yeah!!

  • hey andy does this amp have enough clean headroom on the 15w setting to compete with a drummer? or would i need a clean boost to stay in the mix?

  • whats the difference between a 8 and a 16ohm speaker?

  • @BorisDono the difference is exactly 8 ohms

  • @BorisDono 8 ohms.

  • actually i think the tt clean sound is underated..there are some great clean tones to be had here without much effort..i ordered one for the clean leads i was able to get..apologies pgs crew..

  • sorry man..your clean demo wasn't clean at all?? boogie blues clean with a lead burnout at the end wth? havent heard anyone demo a decent clean on these yet..

  • @teanakai - If you're looking for pristine jazz or '80's "power ballad" type clean tones the Tiny Terror probably isn't the amp for you. It's a dirty amp...that's what low wattage tube amps do best. For squeaky clean tones you'll do better with something higher wattage, with more clean headroom. Thanks for watching!

    -PGS Crew

  • @teanakai i use the dirtier channel on my orange AD30 to get a great chimey clean tone with plenty of body. i bet you can get a similar sound with the gain low and the volume max in the 15w setting, especially with the guitar vol rolled back just a touch.

  • @teanakai dude I've tried the tiny terror combo 1x12 (which sounds alot different from the head) and if your looking for something that does clean better than a deluxe reverb, u should check it out. I would recommend putting a reverb pedal in front of it if you want more jazz.

  • @DeathIzurfriend go for the orange definately with a good cab

  • tested the TT in store and it sounded ok... in store with low volume, and twisting the gain knob. The tones Andy gets here sound massive and pro, but he has the volume flat out, and that's worth knowing.

  • Do they come in any other colors?

  • @FizzyCarbuncle

    Is that serious question?

  • Even with 5 watts you can be heard above drums...if your drummer isn't the hulk. And i'm talking about rehearsal here...you don't need a BEAST to rehearse or record.

  • I love the simplicity of the controls!

  • Andy thanks for confirming my purchase! Everytime I think it might be time to move on from the TT I watch this and remember why Its the best amp in the world!

  • man,i just love this guy.he is great.i am going to buy this amp from their shop right away.

  • Pearl Jam!!!

  • so which would be better? a tiny terror or a dual terror?

  • if using this amp live, how would you switch from clean to overdrive straight away? also do pedals go well with this amp because it doesnt have reverb?

  • @fenderrz volume knob on your guitar. This is only a one channel amp

  • it has the 7 and the 15 watts mode, and it can sound "over the drummer" how many watts is the real output of it?

  • what song is played at 0:15 ?

  • Corduroy at beginning + awesome amp = heavenly demo.

  • PGS should I get this or the Vox Night Train? What would you recommend?

    - James

  • @hackett999 its really up to your style of music. i play rock, on the hard side...like ac dc. the orange terror is perfect at it. responsive, dynamic. everything. BUT the clean tones are nothing to be rave about. I never play clean tones through it. The night train. i dont own it but ive played it a lot. their clean tones are great. nice and chimmey like any other vox. but in my opinion, the overdrive sounds muddy and not too good. the pgs video makes it sound far better than what it truly is

  • This or the VOC AC15C1?????

  • last child - aerosmith

  • what'sthe last song andy played?

  • @riseofthefallen301 Aerosmith - Home Sweet Home

  • @odgeUK Actually that song's called "Last Child".

  • @odgeUK You mean Last Child.

  • i wanna see him playing the amp behind him =P looks like a vintage Marshall !

  • Volume, Tone and Gain? : (

    Now that sucks! : C

  • i always pictured andy as being older with glasses and balding

  • has anyone tried this amp with some NOS tubes in it?

  • yeahhh! aerosmith rocks! rats in the cellar and last child

  • I used to own an Orange Tiny Terror. Then I sold it and bought an Orange Rocker 30. I still miss the Tiny Terror. That's how good this thing is.

  • i compared the night train and terror yesterday at GC and the Orange is MUCH better. And I'm a long time Vox player

  • testing the difference between 7watt and 15 watt is so useless....

  • @groscaca69 on a youtube video, maybe. go play one yourself. enjoy

  • @groscaca69 Not exactly, man, listen in headphones. 15w has a sharper attack and a little more bass response, which gets a little spongier and more saturated in 7w. It's certainly subtle, but not worth overlooking in an in-depth review. I have one of these, and especially in the studio, that wattage switch is priceless.

  • What speaker cab is this? PPC 112?

  • will this amp be loud enough to play over a heavy hitting drummer at gigs?

  • I played it in the store and didn't really like it,

the drive is very unclear and muddy imo

  • DUDE YANKIN AROUND THE PICKUP SELECTOR LIKE IT AIN'T FRAGILE, PEOPLE LIKE YOU ARE WHY YOU CAN'T BUY A LES PAUL IN THE STORE

  • @Wodey25 if it can't handle being switched quickly i wouldn't wanna buy it anyway

  • Corduroy! Andy likes Pearl Jam, I've heard many PJ songs over the time I've been watching these demo's!

  • It sounded really bad at 02:10...

  • Thanks for another great review! But why is there no Tele in this Video? Do you think it wouldn't fit well?

  • What pickups are fitted on that Les Paul?

  • @apessk8s88 seymour alnico pro II

  • can u actully gig with this head?

  • What? Only one channel?

  • @matzchase one is all you need. or go with the dual terror
