when you hit the dummy doesnt the nunchaku swing back and hitting our own hand? cause thats what happen to me :S

If you are finidng that the chucks swings back, You may want to look at your distance.

Normally you want the hit your target with the last 1/3 of the stick. You may be hitting your target with too much of the stick

Also pay try hitting your target a bit harder. SOmetimes the chuck can bounce back if you don't throw enough force into it. Don't go crazy, but give it a bit of welly!

I wish he mentioned to be careful when you hit the bag with open nunchaku. I remember first time I hit the bag with open nuhchaku which bounced right off and almost broke my jaw.. :)

Finally someone showing battle technique with nunchucks, but still.

He's no good teacher, and hes not a good nunchuck fighter.

Watching him doing what he does in the vid and you'll see hes defence is worthless.

He wouldn't stand a chance against a real opponent with a basic nunchaku training

I bought subscribe to Rick Tew 1-year DVD membership and Nunchaku DVD is part of it. They sent 1 DVD to me every month...each with different martial arts topics.

Too much time and energy wasted on swinging the nunchaku around the body. I would prefer to see more rapid attacks from continued angle strikes. Also, it's not easy to find videos on using the chain/rope part itself for chokes, grabbling, or disarming. Much more to a nunchaku that twirling, and open strikes.

dat used to happen to me 2, it hurts like shit!!! Jus try not to let the point of contact be the middle of the swinging part, hit with the end of the nunchaku, the part farthest away from you

try to keep ur wrist moving after ur nanchuck makes contact with the dummy, so when it tried to recoil, ur wrist will prevent it

It happened to me also. But another thing you can try to do is swing the nunchaku faster, only to a point where you can control it though.

nunchuks do that,you need to learn how to catch it OR if your good enoguh with thme you will know how to twist it around and connect a couple more hits

So just their it tells you that asians din't make martial arts.Now the chinese shaolin monks past some techniques to the japs.The greeks to the romans and well you know were it's getting.
