I was actually looking for natural hair care products and came across this. I have been natural for a year and swear by Profective products. My hair is very thick, soft and grows very fast. I'd never thought about using monistat for hair growth but then again for those who take medicine or ever had a prescription the drugs are used over a wide range for multiple reasons. My mother is 62 and experiencing hair loss due to blood pressure meds but I will definitely tell her about this. Thanks!

I'm sorry some people are so rude to you. They shouldn't watch if they don't like the information that is given. I'm going to give it a try and hope my edges grow back. I surely hope you didn't put that stuff on your hair and scalp for 30 days. It says right on the box to stop use after 3 days...this is a drug that should be used as directed. It is essentially a poison--yes a poison--used to KILL fungus on a twat. Why would you put it in your hair? Ask your doctor if it's okay to put a poison used to kill bacteria from a YEAST INFECTION on your scalp. Better yet let her know you've been using it for over 3 days to grow hair and watch her reaction.

@WhereYaBoss I have done my research and it is not a poison! It is used in topical external skin creams as well as vaginal creams to kill fungus. Some product found in athlete's foot, ringworm, hydrocortisone, and even oral gels! I found it to be safe for me to use when diluted and put on my scalp. I have been using it 5 days a week for almost 4 weeks and I have achieved some great growth with it! Thanks for your concern and your comment :)
