  • 0:45 this is krav-maga i think..

  • @LuckyBolt100 you only know krav-maga:)))?

  • @r4f4st4n1 did I ask you anything you fucking moron, fucking litlle shit.

  • @ziveoTITO Gentlemen, Please! Do not USE bad language in the expression of your opinion. Take a deep breath through your nose and gently exhale through the mouth. Life is good!!! Be positive and help others, Oleg.

  • karate chops really do work if you hit the neck

  • Where do you take classes for this? Easily the most practical and effective form of self defense I've ever seen, and I'd love to learn.

  • Imagine a Navy Seal trying to stab a Spetsnaz. I wonder what the outcome would be...

  • @KillerZetzz whomever is holding the knife has vastly greater odds of winning the encounter. Not even close.

  • @KillerZetzz navy seal dead

  • I like your dojo, it is my difinition of a perfect dojo.

  • and btw am i the only one that noticed that it is spetsnaz training it has a japanese flag and languange at the background? ^^

  • @ThePacho15 Lol. I didn't notice the flag, but I saw the writing things with the Japanese looking characters and I was a bit confused for a second. >_<

  • is it legal to fight in the street likethis if somebody atacks you

  • @ziveoTITO Is it legal for somebody to attack an innocent person in the first place?

  • @SystemaSpetsNaz Do you think i could find a place to learn systema in central Texas... Rednecks around here will attack you for no good reason what-so-ever. Plus it looks like good exercise.

  • @hunterziegelmann

Have you sought out Shodai George Brock on Valley Mills- He is a genius in Martial Arts and Shihan Arlen Wolfe. Awesome arts and great fighters!

  • @SystemaSpetsNaz what if you believe no adult is innocent?

  • @ziveoTITO ma koga bole kurac :D :D

  • @ziveoTITO Now I know who shall I assault in the middle of the street. LOL Retard.

  • very nice, love the use of the "x" block..which is underated in my humble opinion. most often a person will face an untrained and angry opponent coming in with a kitchen knife or screwdriver in the heat of the moment. a trained knife fighter will cut you before you know it happened and thats a different situation which i am sure this instructor understands. just as one must train against a wild puncher instead of a boxer

  • dont FUCK with old people

  • I love your knife disarms, very controlled and aiki. I am a currently Russian Martial Arts Group teacher and I like the way you mixed Aikido with your Systema.

    Great job! :)

  • @DeathlyHalcyon I never practiced Aikido :) Thank's for the feedback anyway....

  • Well, I've always learned at my local Karate dojo, that if someone pulls a knife on you, you should look for a weapon yourself (a chair, bag, your jacket, etc.) to even out the odds, but if you haven't got an option, it's better to face the attacker and do something that MIGHT save you, instead of turning away and surely die.. There's never any guarantee. Great vid by the way!

  • 1:37 hushhh now.... go to sleep......

  • What technique is at 1:37?

  • All of this breaks down completely if your opponent actually has some MA training... escpecially knife training. However, I'd like to see some sparring footage. A rubber knife is fine, but your attacker should really be trying to stab you. Convince me this is for real, plz.

  • the move at the end was scary fast, thanks oleg

  • very god video

  • I wish I can learn the spetnaz system ! the only problem is I don't know where to get a master trainer or a book or a cd !!! I live in Canada ! and in my city ! it's very rare to see spetnaz training center ! I played kick boxing , karate for almost 4 years ! but never found unique techniques like in the spetNaz system !

  • BE hard fast and strong and that knive will come out :0

  • Oleg. Can u tell me what do u think about my philosophy against knives: Dont try to focus to the knive but to opponents head or genetals ?How i like to say it is: Straight forward motion as a straight blast attack and focus to the head if dealing with knives. If not. Then same thing basicly but then u can have more control and focus on taking down more than punching etc. to ones head and kill him prolly by mistake or cause alot of unecessary damage. Peace. Learn, Know, LIVE!

  • @Sheikkailija Philosophy is good - but in combat there is no time think - all you can do is survive - every situation is unpredictable - do what it takes to save your life - it is a legal right of any individual.

  • @SystemaSpetsNaz Yes. This i understand. Philosophy can only be motion, to me its whatever in life that i do :) I was just talking about a basic idea wich i myself would for now use in a real-life situation as i see it the best way for now. But i wouldnt think about doing it. If the time comes i just go for it right away if the situation requires it. If it doesnt i adapt to the situation in another way by maybe running away or something else. Whatever works ! :) Peace. Oh. And nice video!

  • @SystemaSpetsNaz Mr Spector ive been hearing about old and young man martial arts. Are alot older people able to use Systema very well?

  • @Sheikkailija When you speak about the counterattacks against knife with punching to the head etc.,I remember one real example that this does not work very well - see ?v=szzyRPOuCfU - the guy,who counter-attacked against the knife in this video was killed (bleed out from stabbs).

I would personally say,if you really have to defend against knife and have no another option (e.g. to run and escape),it is absolutely vital that you really must focus on the knife (or better said the hand holding it).

  • @MonsterCutter He does show ways of dealing with the knife hand. And how is it that someone who's being punched in the face knows how to use there knife so well?

  • @DragonZord90, Nicely said.

  • This should be taught to every police force worldwide.. its a brilliant system, and will save lots of live's....I use it regularly on the Doors at work.. Dickheads just don't know whats hit them when you give them a bit of Russian.

  • Looks more like karate then systema, a little to rigid in the stances and movements, Good Karate

  • the path of least resistance is the best way to defend against a knife attack. as i've learned "you can only be slashed, stabbed or cut so many ways. the area of of attack is the area of the knife's utility, i.e. the point or edge(s)", and with that, the directional action of the attack also has to be accounted. you don't want to focus soley on the knife, but the extension of the arm wielding it. that is your area of control. the direction of the blade is first account, but the arm is foremost.

  • @nuttybollockz, Well stated. Totally agree.

  • This was some really cool stuff! Amazing really. Like 500 ways to disarm the knife attack.

  • Great! What a Great Martial art that is! Much respect to It!!

  • excellent. it takes lot of practice to hone these skills.

  • beatiful...

  • This is also just a training video. In real life youd be on the ground and knocked out before you even realized he had grabbed you.

  • The only reason these moves may seem slow is because otherwise the viewer may not know what the hell is happening. If this guy actually gets you in his grip you will cry like a little girl, so consider this before commenting

  • so awesome

  • Beautiful!

  • Fucking amazing skills!!!!

  • 0:40 lol from aikido.(gotegaeshi)

  • this is really beautiful stuff. over the last 20 years i have studies any number of fighting styles, but never this one. i think i'll dedicate some time to finding out more about this.

  • Very beautiful, you have a great grace in your movements. Thanks for uploading.

  • JUJITSU!!

  • 1:34 was fucking ownage

  • 0:36 he gets cut, still a good video tho

  • You should block the thumb, You do not take that in consideration. He could still move his wrist and cut yours. By the way I saw a tid bit of Goju ryu karate, is russian martial arts a mix of different martial arts?

  • You are welcome to try it yourself - the door of my school is open! You can attack me with a knife and I'll do a "fake" defense! And make sure - I'll video tape it for YOU TUBE!

  • owned!!! nice reply lol

  • @SystemaSpetsNaz is there a similar school of systema in greece?

  • @zambcore

Yes. Its called ju-jitsu and self defence.

  • you real spetsnaz because this is preetty good

  • traditional Ju JItsu?

  • we use couple of those moves in our taekwon do practise, and it looks like it's traditional(a.k.a. ITF) taekwon do

  • No. That's not TKD. I'm not bashing on TKD because I currently train in TKD myself, and we also use some of those same techniques, and a lot of the same strike lines just in a different way. However this is not traditional TKD. (which can be more than ITF), there's a Japanese flag in the background, it's definitely Jiu Jitsu.

  • aikido mixed with many others

  • I asked so many martial art masters about unarmed vs knife fights, they all gave me the same reply, "avoid it, you can win but will still be badly carved." So, is there any actual practical solution to unarm a knife?

  • Become your attacker in every way - reflect the energy. Life is a chance - the choice is personal. To win is to take a chance - and to loose is to avoid the chance to survive. There are no masters - life is one big lesson.

  • @SystemaSpetsNaz well said to bad they don't have any of this in Illinois

  • @SystemaSpetsNaz i do not say that your moves for stopping it aren't good but you must put something more against experianced knife fighters because even from the way the guy is holding the knife at the video he represents an "amateur" with a knife

  • @ThePacho15 This video is for entertainment only - real combat lasts couple of seconds...and it is not for viewing on YouTube.

  • @SystemaSpetsNaz LOL. That is obvious, and it should be clearly stated in the title of your video collection!

  • @ThePacho15 i agree. but wouldnt you say that the odds are better you would face an untrained person who just goes with the " ice pick" strike or flails wildly? i personally get hit far more often by my begining students than my trained ones because they are so unpredictable. i think thats the paradox, we can sometimes overtrain for the situation and overlook the obvious . i teach the "x" block because i figure if the attacker knows how to reverse, trap and cut, then you already lost .

  • @MrByaeger

You have a good head on your shoulders- keep questioning the answers and seek realistic training methods and a correct world view- our mind is the most dangerous weapon.

  • i was told the same really, you can try but just make sure your prepared to get cut because if you go in thinking you are going to perform a 100 percent clean disarm and u do get cut it will completely ruin your state of mind and put u off increasing your chances of getting cut to ribbons

  • If attacker knows the knife, you dont have a chance.

If attacker is another dumb fuck who likes stabbing, you have a chance.

  • The move at 1:39 is really good

  • yeah people would say its gay but omg you will be surprised that this "gay" move can save your life

  • LMAO

  • SPETSNAZ RULES!

  • Can anyone help me. What if your combatants height and weight outnumber you. Would you still be able to kick their ass. This is top quality i want to be able to do this kind of stuff. The self confidence you must having know that you could kick the ass of anyone in the room you enter what a feeling.

  • You would still be able to kick their ass, all fighting isn't based on height, weight or strength. At times they do help but you can use momentum to throw them to the ground and for height disadvantages all you do is change the way you would attack, if you can't grab the neck take the arm and you will be able to throw of bring him down more so you are able to grab his neck and finish the attack. Hope that help buddy.

  • Yea thanks it did help, anyone know if this is true. I would like to start doing weight lifting but my instructor said try karate first any truth in this.

  • Both gaining muscles and learning to use them are needed, and could be done in either order or together.

  • If a guy is taller than you, then he will have difficulty in defending his lower body against you, so you should attach the taller adversary's lower body such as the shin, knee or groin. Also if he has more weigh than you, he will have lesser mobility and stamina than you, you can use this against him; just keep on moving around him and tire him out. Make sure that he doesnt grab you and use strikess against him rather than throws, armlocks or grappling techniques.

  • if someone attacks you with a knife, only a weapon to keep distance or thick clothing will keep you from getting cut, unless you are fighting a retarded child. fact. whether of not you survive may be a matter of various techniques, but you will be cut. anyone who thinks not is free to think so and have debilitating injuries. a cut in this situation is not like when you barely graze yourself while cutting an onion and immediately drop the knife. you are likely to lose functionand blood.

  • You are correct - the main idea is to survive, but know that you will get cut and need to seek medical attention.

  • Oleg Spector is THE man!

  • man in black will tear your cocks and all you have men and wont even notice that you are not a man anymore LOL

  • Excelent !!! Great skills, technic and years of training

  • Cool!!

  • It does the job - not leaving an attacker on the floor pretending he is hurt and selling teaching certificates for profit.

  • Well I am sure that it gets the job done. It just looked more structured than other Systema I have seen. I never said that it wasn't effective. I am just wondering if it is Systema? Who did you learn from? Thanks!

  • i like how the knife flew at the camera

  • i didn't quite catch the last one ;) slightly too fast

  • I feel like almost all of these moves are pretty great. I just wonder how much stronger or faster than your attacker you have to be to make them relevant. Most of these involve joints and most of the joint locks shown have great leverage, so they look pretty solid. The chin lock doesn't look very practical at all.

  • yeah if he goes without stopping his moves inbetween for the camera i dont think the strength of the opponent counts

  • lol my fav is at 1:33... hehe

  • ya thats my trainer

  • very nice

  • i wanna be like him =((

  • Exelent these techniqes of the spetsnaz dicipline will be usefull if a human comes to assault me with a weapon but i would definitely need a good stratergy in court so i dont get screwed Oops i mean sued

  • This is the most varied ass-kicking I've ever seen. The guy in the black is definately not to be fucked with.

  • that move at 1:33 = OUCHHHHH!!!!

  • thats like the ground principal to all these military fighting systems, maximum result for minimum effort. none of this, assume the stance of the dragon crap, that only works in a controlled enviornment.

  • COOL (Looks very effective and efficient.)

  • awsome!

  • COOL! 5 STAR! Are you going to release the DVDs? I'll definitely want to buy it
