@QNHCantiAlpha i like ssf4 better because of the characters and the awesome combos u cant do in the previous ones except probably third strike. but i like ssf2 turbo for the speed in the game. the game is so speedy. if they like put ssf4 turbo that would probably be the sf game. because fastness mix with awesome combos and shenanigans man. though sf is the best fighting game and to me the best game ever.

Well it's because of the music. In here when you'd verse someone the music would play on the stage and that stage is the theme of the character. SSF4 just has songs for the stages and they didn't put enough effort into making a stage for everyone like they did here. It's a good game, I completely agree but oldies like this game more and I like this game more. It's more fast paced and dangerous with the specials (my opinion!).

@XxGonixXFAN I definitely miss the character themes. I have no idea why you can only listen to them during online play. its just stupid. The only good stage themes I like are Cruise Ship Stern, Volcano, and Crumbling Laboratory.

this was always seth's favorite matchup.. very controlled fight requiring no reflexes or skill.. big luck fest generally favoring balrog.. He's the kinda guy that likes to go line dancing u know at hillbilly bars cuz he got no reflexes or creativity.. it took him like 3 months to master this simplistic fight and now he obviously dusted off the old trick to beat a superior player. Anyway we dont pick the counter not cuz we dont know balrog wins this but cuz we want a challenge via handicapping.

@hoboreborn I don't think that's the reason, I think it's because he has a faster recovery rate with hadukens and since new Ryu can never knock you down when throwing, O.Ryu can so that's always good when your wanting to corner with your hadukens :)

Hadukens are actually less powerfull and ST ryus hadukens stun in 3 hits while O.ryu stuns in 4. The only good thing about O.Ryu is his uppercut power and longer spinning kick
