  • I got 500'to blow o n guitar and was gona get a Martin x series, does the venus come with a hard case as well?

  • got me laughin:)

  • I've bought this guitar recently and am well pleased with it. As Rob has said, it is definitely the workhouse of the bunch. To my mind, though it lacks the tasty gloss finish and wood figuring of the hi-gloss version, I think the Natural actually sounds better after trying them all in the store. The neck is simply the best acoustic neck I've played. Unplugged it resonates so well and is punchy, where single runs ping out of the body. Plugged in it's warm, warm, warm! Just a delight ...

  • Hi, I've just this. Would you recommend putting a pickguard on it? Cheers.

  • if anyone's not certain about getting this guitar. get it, check the high gloss version all over my channel in most of my vids!

  • do they cost much?

  • it has got a nice tone i must ad mit

  • Just bought one of these bad boys. Well, the high gloss version, but that's the only difference! Cheers Rob for the great demo

  • will have mine in the next few days :) :) (the high gloss one though)

  • WOW! This really seems to be EXACTLY my cup of tea. Really cool guitar with great tone.

  • Im currently looking into this guitar. What is the difference between the natural and hi-gloss version. Any difference in sound?

  • I like sweating over my guitars! Been eyeing this guitar up for a while now. Played on one the other day. Beautiful guitar, lovely and bright sounding. I use a lot of open tunings, so tried it in open-G and open- Em, which I've just startyed using. Well the guitar just sounded beautiful! So I will be buying one of those as soon as I have the money up together! Great video Rob, and sweet playing, I like that style!

  • I Tried a faith venus II high gloss yesterday after trying a couple of other makes of guitars and it was a joy to play. It felt right. im after a nice small bodied acoustic thats really easy to play and it ticked all those boxes plus it looked great. my only prob is the price tag! so i guess ill haver to save :)

  • I have that guitar. It is one of the best acoustics i have ever played. It has such a full sound for such a small and light body!

  • Comparing the two videos, this guitar seems to have a deeper sound than the Saturn... which is odd, as it seems to have a smaller body. What's up with that?

  • Do anyone knows what this man is playing, i want to learn this song its really cool :D

  • What, at the start? Sounds like "Change the World" by Eric Clapton...

  • You could probably make most any guitar sound great, Rob.

  • i want one

  • I have just ordered the Faith FJCE guitar from 'Baroque and Roll' in Cinderford,

Gloucestershire. It truly is a gorgeous instrument and they are a brilliant dealership. As you mention in your movie, I chose it because of those labels. (I obviously got it wrong, I thought it was them you paid for and that the guitar came free with them.) My next task is to practise that raised eyebrow trick. I assume that helps with sustain or something? Seriously though - Faith guitars really are the business.

  • I like these. They have a very well-balanced sound. Can we get these in the states yet?

  • sweeet licks and groove!!!

  • Classic mon, hope you had a good time at NAMM, enjoyed the Kramer press conference vid. Hey you know your camcorder? I was thinking about making a porn vid with my misses, can i borrow it, i'll give you a free muff freeze frame in return! .. . . .all the best man, Simon (king)

  • Hey Rob. I was wondering if the audio in the vid is just from the camera? or the direct out from the guitar or the mics that you can see on the video, or a mixed of all. I ordered my left handed venus today and will be getting it this friday. really looking forward to it!!

This video gave me the final push to buy it! Hopefully in march im gunno buy the jumbo jupiter as its only then they come out in left handed!

  • Hi mate, good question :-) The audio in this video is a mix of Room Mic (Neumann), the DI, and the Camera mic. The audio has not been enhanced or changed in any way, all I did is blend the mics and the DI. You are hearing mostly Room mic.

  • awesome! thanks for the reply. Your an inspiration!

  • Thanks mate :-)

  • Hi Rob,I'm in Québec ,Canada, and i should want to know where i could go to try a Faith Guit?It look so crazy and sound so warm and perfect!!!

  • Hi Corailz, I am not sure. I think you should visit the Faith Guitars website where there should be a page which shows distributors in Canada :-)

  • awsome vid chappers!

  • HUH!!! 0:42 . faith for the win

  • Great vid Rob, I will be at Ware on Thursday, hope to meet you :-D Gary.

  • Cool mate, see you there :-)

  • Amazing! Gorgeous guitar and, of course, playing, as per usual.

  • bolt on WTF!. does this loose sustain at all? why bolt on? is it cheaper to manufacture?

  • he explains why..

  • He says it eliminates the 'hump' hmm which is not the case 'all' the time with glued necks, it is just a symptoms from bad examples. There must be other reasons why they choose to bolt their necks.

  • Much easier to adjust, simpler to repair, cheaper to produce and there are some nice tonal flavors that come through. Teles and Strats don't lack tone...

  • Ah ok. Cheaper to produce is the main plus for Faith though!. I am not getting on with my strat!, I lowered the action by lowering the saddles, but i got loads of buzz, and I didn't wanna adjust the truss rod :(. Do strats just have higher action? Also, the strat is very one demential. any tips?

  • Yes, either you have the action to low, or your truss needs adjusting... Sounds like the neck is a touch concave. Take your Bass E String, press down your first fret at the same time as the 22nd you want about 1 mm between the string and the frets in the middle of the string.

  • Sweet, I'll have a look, But my strat only has 21 frets :)

  • You're a damn good demonstrator/salesman. If I ever look into getting an acoustic, this looks like the kind I'd be interested in. ;)

  • I have one! There awesome!

Had it for about 2-3 years now starting to mellow nicely now !
