Being bisexual... I don't have a problem at all with gay marriage. However, if I meet someone who's not against it but not for it I don't mind. there is nothing wrong with gay marriage. i can understand that homosexuality makes some people uncomfortable, but ultimately it comes down to this; gay marriage hurts no one. if a kid see's a gay person, they wont "turn gay" because of it, and the only marriage that affects you is your own. not to mention that civil unions don't protect gay couples rights the way that marriage protects straight couples. so i say live and let live, love and let love.

I never saw any lesbians on TV growing up, but I still turned out as a lesbian. Recent science suggests that genetics or hormones in the womb may determine sexuality. there is nothing wrong with gay marriage. i can understand that homosexuality makes some people uncomfortable, but ultimately it comes down to this; gay marriage hurts no one. if a kid see's a gay person, they wont "turn gay" because of it, and the only marriage that affects you is your own. not to mention that civil unions don't protect gay couples rights the way that marriage protects straight couples. so i say live and let live, love and let love.

personally, i believe that being concerned about your daughter seeing two men get married, has no more of a bearing on how she will react, than seeing an interracial couple holding hands in public. does that bother you? If a couple is going to make out, I grant you they should do so in privacy But, to say you're concerned about your kids seeing this tells me that you plan to censor them from any and all forms of diverse lifestyles, or at least from those that you personally feel are acceptable.

I never saw any lesbians on TV growing up, but I still turned out as a lesbian. Recent science suggests that genetics or hormones in the womb may determine sexuality. Thus, whatever orientation your kid is going to be has probably been determined since before they popped out of the womb. So don't stress about two guys or two girls kissing on tv. It shouldn't affect anything.

I have to agree with Kel. I honestly don't like to think about gay marriage. The thought of it gives me the creeps, but I understand the concept of equal rights. Heterosexuals can't marry whomever they want. They can't marry someone who is underage, already married, a close relative or someone of the the same sex. These same rules apply EQUALLY to homosexuals. How is that "unfair'? As I have said, this has nothing to do with being treated fairly, and everything to do with validation. I'm all for tolerance, but this is about forcing society to accept a lifestyle that many find morally offensive.

I interact with gay people in day to day life so I have grown to find it almost normal sometimes when I talk about it. However, I would never consider being y'know, gay. We do have rights of freedom so let them do it. The only prblem with marriage that I have is people marrying in vegas or something when they are drunk. They don't know what they are getting into! lol

The only thing that would encurage your daughter to have a lesbian wedding, would only be if she was bisexual or a lesbian herself. And shes prob not but you never know. And I really wouldnt worry about your daughter being gay kel I would rather worry about her comming hope one day at 16 pregnate. No one choses to be gay or make gay babies, Just like being straight you are born that way. And nothing later on in life is going to change your S.O. unless you are finding out that you truly are gay.

I cant believe how many people are still so against gay marriage. I see nothing wrong with it. I have family and friends that are gay and they are some of the best friends I have ever had. It's 2011 and if it's OK for young kids to have sex, spread disease, and have unwanted children what's the big deal if the same gender is in love and want to marry... At least the two lesbians down the street could adopt the unwanted baby that the teen not having safe sex gave birth to.
