They do have bass in the song...but I garuntee you its the exact same as the guitar, The White Stripes are only 2 people, guitar/vocals & a drummer...so they dont have a proper bassist (though I'm positive Jack White can play bass)

Actually there are no bass in any White Stripes songs, they charted the rhythm guitar track.

That riff gets pretty annoying after about 30 seconds. But it sounds like there's bass in the song, it's hard to tell.
