This just shows why the game was cooler before they added all these boosts, or as I consider them, "cheats". Sure, there was always some luck in the game but now, luck dominates. This player displays no real ability to play Bejeweled Blitz; her playing speed is unremarkable. Yet she registers one of the highest scores ever because the game kept dropping perfectly placed bonus gems. My high score on the pre-boost version was 648.000 and that's the only "high score" I count for myself.

I have footage of the highest score, 2,076,400 where he scored 778,800 pre-Cat.I should upload that soon, but the quality is not as good because I didn't record it myself. imo, this LH was prettier than the other one because of the lightning. i'd love to see other high score videos. it's funny - with ET and all that you can get super high scores, but it's cool how someone with modest skills (only just over 500K without the cat) can get insane high scores with luck - but that's how the world is meant to be i think :-)

And it's odd how semi-decent scores are rewarded with HUGE Cats once in a blue moon. The 2M game was on x8 with 1.3M LH. If she would have had x8 it would have blown the other LH out of the water! I have seen other 1M Cats, but they are few and far between. On the contrary, high pre-Cat games like 1.2-1.5M seem to get very poor Cats. I will also upload a recent 1.9M game soon

The cat was a great one and yes the cat is strictly luck. Many high scores are achieved using the cat through luck...however this lady is a great player even better than me and I'm no noob.

UPDATE: This game is no longer the highest legitimate BB score, although it now stands a close second to a 2 Million game that was recently achieved by another player. It was the same scenario, a huge LH, even better than this one if you can believe it.

@haddockCA Actually this wasn't my game, it was another player's. Let me tell you she's got more gold 500k's than you could fathom and that's not all luck. Sure this wasn't the best played game by her, not by a long shot, and she's admitted that. Luck happens and it's stuff like this that makes the game all the more enthralling. You just can't judge someone saying they are not a good player by watching one of their games that happened to have a ton of luck in it.

Of course it is a game combines all of them.

By the way, your record 1.02M is a good one that I may get it 10 times a day,

but I'll still say you are a good player instead of saying something like "You are not a good player." as you did.
