Not solid design at all, it ignores some basic principles of solid car design. The lines are chaotic, ending up in thinned triangles, which is not good at all. Unrefined, interesting, unique, and definitely nothing even close that , say, GM Labs would crank out. Thumbs down.

It's a beautiful shaped car but as usual it has too many drawbacks to be practical eg the doors. A) how can you open them in a standard sized garage? B) the rear passengers get soaked when it's raining and ruins the seats and/or carpets C) or the driver gets soaked when anyone else wants to get in or out when it rains (and it rains a lot here in the UK). Err we never thought of that say the engineers...

It's really neat. The one they are driving around does not have the full glass sides but has the same look and colors.

Don't expect to see it on the road, though. They drive late at night and keep it covered during the day.

@Anglichanen yeah about that, they can't do that. There are certain legal issues that companies face when it comes to concept car making. Check out the Mustang concepts of 1995 they were ridiculous. Besides concept cars usually lack security measures which are what make the car dull and boring later. We would all like for what you say to happen. It's just impossible, but hey the ford gt was designed and has run since the 60s so don't loose hope.

@11BMWpower11 i They may have said it will go into production but i bet it will barely resemble the concept car, they hardly ever do. It will probably resemble a 3 series coupe more than this concept. It's always a big anti climax as they are terrified of it offending the middle ground. BMW is a fleet car manufaterer these days, (in other words its got to appeal to the average, boring Mr Jones types) no way will they gamble big on this. It aint gonna look anything like this in a trillion years!

@Anglichanen you realise that there a re very stringent set of rules cars have to abide by to be road worthy? They have to be safe, and fuel efficient. And not crumble under impact. And not impale pedestrians on impact. But the biggest factor is cost, to put a pure concept into production would be sky high. No one would be able to afford one. Hence the dull cars. Sad but true. :(
