How to select Secret Characters in Super Puzzle Fighter 2

I did this just to show everyone the characters and how they can be played so i don't care if you say i suck! As they say "certain people like different games" I choose this due thanks to boredom and i played this on my Sega Saturn before but it was a while since i last played it.

If you watch the video again it says for Dan hold Start and press down 13 times then press any button. For Akuma do the same but press L,D,L,D,L,D,L,D then hold Left and press any button. You must have got them mixed up.
