  • @harrisonhotmail: i gathered the motor out of an electronic-trash-contrainer. anyway, its a high-quality maxon motor (swiss quality ;-)). to mount the pcb on the axis, used a small peace of wood which gave a sufficient junction between pcb and gear-wheel of the motor.

  • I'm going to just glue mine. I'll transfer power via magnets, a coil and a capacitor, so there won't be a problem with motor noise; I use an old PC fan which i clipped off the wings, so it turns faster.
