  • My doctor just found an occurrence of elevated liver enzymes in my 2 blood test.

Im not certain what the enzymes were called. Im really hoping its not hepatitis.

This video at least puts a good perspective that HEP C "is not a death sentence" if you follow the doctors orders. Thank you.

  • Havent you heard about Boceprevir and Telaprevir which are the new drugs for HCV . You still have to take interferon and riba with these but the cure rates are very high and in some patients treatment time can be significantly shortened. Regarding finances i am sure that there are plenty of organisations that can help. This is by no way a death sentence and treatment is doable. I underwent almost 2.5 years of treatment in total with a very short break after failing treatment once. YOU CAN DO IT

  • Thank you. I was diagnosed with hep c 3 days ago. I think I got it from acupuncture. I did not have it at my previous blood tests 9 months ago. I am devastated but hopeful. I cannot afford any treatment. Life is a death sentence! I do not have the capacity to get very depressed about anything, yet... I made it 63 years without contracting an incurable fatal disease. Being so abstinent for so long might have extended life. Life is/was unbelievable! AsGrandma said "I won't give up til I have to".

  • I am not too happy with the last part...the part that advises needle users to get tested. EVERYONE should get tested. As you know there are many many others ways to get this horrible PANDEMIC disease! I would like a vote on whether you should make a more substantial video. Thanks for the listen,

  • It is not a death sentence but the current treatment will make you wish it was. I've treated and have had a flare up of shingles which resulted in amputation of all my toes on my left foot., Short term side effects of hair loss are nothing compared to constant pain. Do your research folks, These people want to sell their drugs. Period.

  • lol . this guy came to x roads whn i was in treatment .. lmao

  • this helps

  • Hepatitic C might not be a death sentence, but it's as near as you'll get to it.

I had Hepatitis A, which was the greatest battle of my life and that was bad enough. If you want Hepatitis C, have a drop of my blood, if you want to find out. It will give you C. There is only 1 drug for speedy recovery of the liver and Hepatitis and that's Questran. I was back to normal in 2 days, after 16 weeks and I've no knowledge of anyone recovering with Interferon.

You'll soon know if you get it.

  • @TXGTR 51% of all people with hepatitis c, get cured. Thats not near at all

  • @macaframa12 With the advent of the new protease inhibitors cure rates are as high as 71% and i am talking about genotype 1.
