Why are the Olympics so super expensive? Let's tone it down a little and use the funds saved to create international programming and other activities of long-term potential. Inter-cooperative international programs run under consensus of governments whose main purposes would be to foster international interchange and provide outlets/funds for multicultural shows. It would be in direct competition with the commercial channels but without the commercials! YouTube, Live 365 etc. are here.
