@upfrontbear74: I disagree, I like how unexpected and dark it was. A lot of Gung-Fu films have really expected and by the numbers plots, this had the guts to do something different. And excellent action from Wu-Jing too, probably the best thing he's ever done solo.

with Fearless winning thanks to yuen woo ping. I think this movie should take curse of the goldens flowers place because that movie did have nice fight scenes but not very many 1on1 fights and 1on1's make the best fight scenes plus this is one of few sanda films ever.

I can't believe this didn't get nominated for 2007 HK award for fight Choreography I mean it would've likely lost to Fearless but this is great fight choreography especially for the year.

And finally Xing Yu gets an awesome fight without easily losing.

How freakin greedy can you be... That girl in this movie makes me so mad... Makes her boyfriend do underground fighting so she can get freakin rich... Wu Jing's acting is so good, I don't speak Chinese at all, and I can feel him losing himself through out this movie after each victory, he was always alittle different.

Xing Yu is a 34th generation Shaolin disciple who trained for 10+ years in the temple.Jacky Wu Jing is the last(so far) generation of Marital Arts Masters, training since he was six and competed as a member of the Beijing Wushu Team(like Jet Li and Donnie Yen).Is there any wonder why this fight scene was so ridiculously incredible?! Fact: This whole fight scene was done in two takes. TWO FRIGGIN TAKES?!

Out of all the new MA talents in Hong Kong, I feel Xing Yu's the only one with the package to a shine. Movies like Kung Fu Hustle and Flash Point showed his potentials. What he needs is an experienced director and action director (definitely Donnie Yen).

naaahh... i mean xing yu is pretty good man... but the fight between Donnie Yen and Collin Chou was way better.... was almost perfect!...but Wu Jing is awesome 2 u should watch Legendary Assassin.

Ugh, this rlly was a great movie. And everything was going all good with the street fighting. But then the ending, UGH. Yo if ur planning to watch the movie, savor the beggining and middle.

I absolutely love watching this fight. I wonder if there was any wirework involved? Because Xing Yu jumped pretty high and I wonder what parts are real and what parts are fake. It'd be awesome if it was all read :P except for the arm and leg breaking :S
