While the music is quite similar to other games in the Persona series, P4 still has a style and nuance of its own. I love it! Makes me extremely eager to play the game.
Sorry to say, Shoji Meguro only did music for P4 and P3, thus, you can't say it's similar to the series, as it's only similar to one other game. Shin Megami Tensei in it's whole, however, is a different story.
Regardless of who the composers were, the Persona series has maintained a consistently offbeat yet upbeat and catchy style. That's what I meant when I said the games had similar music.

FF has started a decline in it's characters and writing.
The battles, music, and graphics are still good, but the last three protagonists were probably the most hated.

It's made to fit the mood. A somber mood on a cloudy day, and of course, no music but the sound of raindrops on a rainy one.
I actually liked this one, but Your Affection tops.
