I had to drink 2litres of Moviprep, and it was like thick gloopey seawater, and tasted like goats spit with a hint of bleach. effect wasn't so bad, but was on the toilet for the full week, took a long time to get out of my system. most vile week of my life. also when i was drinking the solution i almost rang up and cancelled the appointment because i was struggling to even drink it and wretched after every mouthful. not a pleasant experience for anyone.

@WestCoastIrk One watch is my nice one. Has time, timers, alarms, altimeter (I work in aviation) baramoter, thermometer, and a whole bunch of other features....the other is for measuring how far you run when jogging.

I had to cancel my appointment today. I tried so hard to drink that Nulytely with some crystal lite (no sugar) and I kept dry heving after every swallow. On my 9th oz I puked it all out. I can't stand the taste of Nulytely. It taste like sea water. It called for 8oz every 10mins. I had to drink a full gallon. There was no way possible I'd be able to hold it down.

Actually not too lucky. The much advertised and highly touted Visicol tablets didn't do a very good job in cleaning out at the appendix. I need to have a repeat colonoscopy done this June. Want to see if they will let me stay awake this time so I can see my innards on the big screen. Some articles say big mistake that I will be in severe pain. Other articles from people that have stayed awake say it's tolerable just a little uncomfortable. Anyone have any opinions about this before June 09?

lucky!! they wouldnt let me have pills i had to have the fleet and i threw it up because it was so goss

Were you taking ducolax pills?

no. Only the Visicol pills that the doctor prescribed. Unfortunately they didn't work as well as expected in the cecum and ascending colon. Everything else was clear.

I am preparing, today, for mine. I was prescribed Half-Litely, which is....awful. Tastes gross, and you feel completely bloated an nauseous afterwards. Still in the midst of cleaning myself out.......

your lucky you had tabs i had to have acidic liquid which tasted disgusting!!!

the tablets dont look too nice either...

they were a little bit big but with a big swallow of water they go down pretty good. No ill effects other than in the second dose I got a little cold but no nausea or anything. Pills are the way to go!
